We always have the best service and food at High Octane. ♥️
Definitely one of my go to places when in the area! Owners are amazing and staff very professional and friendly. Can’t miss with this choice!
My wife and I like boutique coffee joints, but we have had issues finding one in Union County we like until now! Coffee: This is about the coffee for us and it’s really good! It’s smooth and tasty. I don’t usually like my coffee bitter, so the white mocha is perfect for me. They can make it extra sweet but it was a bit too sweet. Chai: Any time my wife talks about chai, she is comparing it to her favorite chai from college. She compared it to that chai! I even liked it and I don’t like chai! Food: My wife I have tried the breakfast sandwiches only, and they were pretty good. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough. She had a turkey, egg, and cheese on GLUTEN FREE BREAD! I don’t know if they use separate grills, so there might be cross contamination, but my wife had no issues with it. Atmosphere: The location in a restored gas station is genius! The soft chairs right in the entrance are perfect and there is outside seating when the weather is good. This place is popular, so do be prepared for a possible long wait if you go in during peak hours Staff: They are fairly friendly. They normally have a smile, repeat your order back to you, get your order to you quickly, and check on you if things are taking too long. They consistently stay open and make quality drinks and food. This is the best coffee in Union County and the best chai in the South!
Just moved to the area and I’m extremely glad that this coffee shop is around.

Cute place! Clean, vintage vibes, although not sure if they have AC or if it was out cause it was a bit warm inside.
I tried the Thanksgiving sandwich and a London Fog latte. Both were well prepared but the flavors were pretty bland, especially given the prices were on the higher end.
Service was a little slow and not particularly upbeat.
Can't speak to the pastries or ice cream. But they looked good!
Plenty of parking. There isn't a lot of space between tables if you are visiting with wheelchairs or need a little extra body space.

I love to go up here I enjoy the atmosphere the stuff are fantastic and they take pride in their work which actually means a lot to me.
Dietary restrictions: They make everything up there when you order it it's not pre-made none of it so if you have dietary restriction they will certainly accommodate I have never been more pleased to go to a place to eat and just relax and have good conversation.
Parking: There is actually plenty of parking around the back of the building.
Kid-friendliness: I always go up there with my grandson and my daughter we always get sandwiches ice cream and they also have choices of water, juices, other natural drinks, you can also get colas if you want.
Wheelchair accessibility: It has access to get into it with a wheelchair and plenty of room for wheelchairs to move around the bathroom is also big enough for a wheelchair some restaurants don't have bathrooms that are actually wheelchair accessible and this one is.

Oscar and his team are always courteous and professional. We've visited half a dozen times but enjoy the early mornings mostly because it's not too crowded. I really like black coffee and their Columbian 'Washed' bean is some of the best black coffee strength I've ever had. Oscar said they have different flavors each day; we bought Washed and Bourbon whole beans today, and he gave us a sample bag of the Gesha to try also. Can't wait.
BTW, my favorite sandwich is the turkey Rueben. Enjoy good food, good atmosphere, and great customer service.
Vegetarian options: Let Oscar know and he will tailor the menu where possible.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really spacious, but tables can move to accommodate a wider aisle.

This is a destination spot, meaning "get in the car and go". Very cool the way they have themed it. And Oscar knows his coffee! Food great, as well.

The cutest little coffee shop. First time visiting here, so we were not sure what to expect. The outside is adorable. We had to sit outside on their little patio because we had our dog with us. Inside was very crowded which was a great thing for them.
The coffee was so good and we split the Carmel Waffle which was amazing!!! It’s big so you can definately share. 2 coffee drinks and one dessert with tip was $30. It’s a little pricey, so for us it would not be for all the time because let’s face it, you cannot come here just for coffee, because everything looks absolutely delicious ?.
When we are by this area again, we will definately stop back!!

The place is very well decorated but this place is a great example of the low barrier to entry for coffee places. People open coffee places because it’s cheaper than starting other businesses and many times they don’t know what they are doing. Let’s take as an example their “honey lavender” flavored drink. If you put a whole ounce of the lavender it tastes like floor cleaner. One is only supposed to put a touch in. Well this place doesn’t care and they just dump an ounce in. When I went to order something different, even though the mistake was theirs, they let me order another nine dollar drink. Also when I was sitting down and the new drink was delivered, I asked that they take the old drink away. The server looked at me like I was an idiot, and spoke to like I was an idiot saying “the trash is right there, you can do it yourself”. I asked the server if I was supposed to dump this whole drink in the trash and then it would leak all over the floor when they emptied it, and there was a sink in back. The server took it with a huff.
This is my second visit to this place and each time I left having spent way too much money for a below average product and service. It does look cool though, and things that look cool sometimes aren’t cool.
