I visited this location this past Thursday with my father and his wife. It was good until I found dirty silverware in the napkin, AGAIN! 2 different locations with dirty utensils. 🤦‍♀️ Makes me wonder about everything else. My steak was not cooked like I told the waiter. A lot of grease and far too much pepper or whatever the seasoning was. The waiter was the only good part about dining inside the restaurant.

We had a group eating lunch celebrating a birthday. We had reserved a table for 10. Seven of us arrived before the others and were told we could not be seated because the entire party was not present. The time was about 11:45 so there was no wait for a table. I could maybe understand this a bit better if there was a line but that was not the case. Also as I said we had reserved a table in advance. When the others arrived we were then informed that we could not be seated until the waiter was available. I expressed my displeasure at the wait and eventually we were seated by one of the hostess staff. Again we had called ahead and the table was ready, but the hostess felt it was necessary to keep us waiting twice. Policy or not this is not the way to treat customers. A couple of the attendees had leg and back issues and should not have been subject to the wait. The food was fine and the server was good but it will be a while before I choose to return to the Longhorn in Monroe.

The staff are very judgemental. I am denied seating oftentimes where I am comfortable due to a preconceived assumption that there are servers I do not wish to wait on me. I have never voiced what I have been accused of saying, and I do not have hatred toward anyone. I do not eat here as often as I used to, but I still do it upon occasion, and I am treated like dirt when I walk in there.

Ok so I placed my order online not a problem. Fast forward I get my order with no croutons etc I paid 35 dollars for my 2 go order I'm not even mad but please do better I'll visit the location in Matthew's nc before I come back ...I'm not being a birch but right is right seriously 😐

Yes, first time hanging out in Monroe North Carolina but longhorn service was terrible the waitress behind the bar the redhead chick was awful they need to replace her with a new server You talk to her friends the whole night and I was invisible but it showing on her tip what kind of service she gave me and then they wonder why they don't get any tip.

Everyone around here knows longhorns, good food, great steak. But do not try calling ahead seating for large groups. Called ahead for group of 11 for a reservation at 7:30pm. Showed up right on time with everyone and they said a 1.5hr. wait. Basically the call ahead seating is useless. Wish we would have known before trying a birthday gathering there. Hopefully management will change this.

My wife and I go to longhorn in Monroe weekly either for a late lunch or early dinner. Service is typically very good. Lately management fails to make rounds to tables to inquire about quality of food and service. This specific visit on 1/26/2025 was put off by the horrible attitude of the hostess that seated us. I believe the hostess should always be warm and welcoming and she was as bad as walking in to the DMV. Management should not hire anyone that has such a bad attitude. Gave our entire party of five with a bad taste in our mouths before we had a single bite to eat. I still would recommend the dinner experience... hopefully the same hostess doesn't seat you and management checks on tables frequently if not at least once.
