Review for McDonald's (Visit on 8/21 at 10:30 PM):*
I’m extremely disappointed with the ongoing service issues at this location. 1. The service is consistently poor—this isn't a one-time experience. 2. On 8/21 at 10:30 PM, I waited in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes, which happens frequently. There's no sense of urgency or customer care. 3. The front-end systems are unreliable—card machines often fail, and the tech setup feels outdated, especially for a brand like McDonald's. 4. The evening store manager showed no concern for the long line of waiting customers. Instead of addressing the situation or offering an apology, she was in the back counting cash. This is not how a franchise should be operated.
If this continues, it's not surprising that this location’s ratings will fall even further. Customers deserve better. Good luck.

We go to this location a lot with our friends and really enjoy their play place. With young children it’s super convenient to eat and play and spend time together! Carmen who brought our food out was incredibly kind and considerate. She did not mind if we asked for more food items and was extremely helpful! Her customer service makes this location thrive!! You are blessed to have her!

The owner of this franchise needs to get in here and start making the food himself if he can’t find anyone else to do it. I sat at the drive-through for 20 minutes. The kicker… There were only three cars total. food was decent. The McDonald’s in Matthews independence is leagues ahead. The food there always taste fresh and the way it’s supposed to. Here Sometimes you get funky taste. For example, sometimes you can taste the old oil on the patties, almost like the grill or the stove hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.

All I got to say is for it to be 11pm the ladies working the windows were so nice and in a good mood, don’t seem to get that much anymore anywhere. And whoever is working in the kitchen is kicking butt tonight too! Very pleased!

Might as well not order breakfast after 10 am bc the lazy workers will just cancel your order. Very bad service and customer service. If you didn’t want to do your job then maybe you should quit!
They rung up my order correctly yet still messed up my order like usual. Fries barely warm and my burgers were supposed to be 1 no cheese and one only ketchup, both had cheese and no ketchup on them.

I put in a mobile order on 3/16/25, got to the location and waited for over 45 minutes in the drive thru line.. the ENTIRE BUILDING WAS LOCKED UP!! There were 2 employees in the kitchen and someone dressed like a manager sitting on their ass near one of the doors just listening to people repeatedly try to go in and not acknowledge them. Could've at least put up a sign explaining why the inside was locked up, or told the app no counter pick-up orders 🙄

Is either the owner is a greedy person like “Mr Crabs” or management is the problem for not having enough and well pay people for this store to make more money. I seen a lot of cars driving out of this place because of the massive waiting and long line. I personally, will go to the Indian Trail one from now on, they are so much faster.
