Astonishingly tasty for a city that's mostly bland food-wise. The dishes are thoroughly seasoned and bursting with natural flavor. The fact that it's family-owned and operated can literally be tasted in the fresh ingredients and care put into prepping each meal. 11/10 look forward to my next food coma.

Some of the better “Mexican” food in Monroe. Not super authentic but if you’re looking for your run of the mill Americanized Mexican food /TexMex then this place does it well. Stay away from the tamales as they are terrible but everything else I’ve tried there is great. Service is great when dining in. Takeout is always easy and tastes just as good. Very decent fast-casual dining, expect to spend $20/person at least

We were a group of 11 and at no time did a staff member refill our water and ice tea glasses, nor did they ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks.There were plenty of waiters, but ours was not in any hurry to take our orders or our credit cards at the end.

Once the food was dropped at the table, no one returned. I was needing more water, had been served a spinach burrito that was cooler temp. with hardly a bit of spinach, mostly cold squishy cheese sauce. I then had to wait up front for the bill. I was told I should have waited at the table for the server to pay.
The food was bland, restroom was clean, and the service was okay.

This Monterrey location is superior to all others. The food here is delicious across the board. The sweet tea is consistently good. The mixed drinks, especially their strawberry mojito, are on point! I haven't found anything wrong with this location. The staff is super nice. The restaurant is always clean. There is sometimes a short wait, but they'll get you in quickly as possible. They have live music on certain nights. They will sing a happy birthday song. It's an all-around great restaurant.
