Came for lunch and pastries with my aunt. She had the torta de pollo (chicken sandwich) and I had el desayuno ranchero. The waitresses were very kind and the service was good. The menu was mostly of images, with little description of plates. It was also mostly in Spanish. The food didn’t take too long to come, and you could tell that it was handmade by order. It was delicious; next time I will take a photo. The torta was gigantic; both meals were priced well based on portion.

Update:They seem to have a new owner, honestly, I go more for the food than the bakery, I wish they had more fresh bread. The place and prices are ok, their food is delicious.I give one star just because is the only “Guatemalan” bakery I’ve seen in Monroe and because their service is not so bad. Easily one of the best, authentic Central American bakeries in the city of Monroe North Carolina. The restaurant/ bakery offers an exotic, daily special that really brings the chef's talents to the fore.
