Rocko's is the best "hidden" gem I've stumbled across! My husband & I split the Gino Cold sub and it was delish! Stuffed with meat & cheese and veggies, it was more than enough for a satisfying yet not overfilling lunch. Eating at their outdoor tables on a sunny, spring-like day made the experience even better!We love the Italian-American deli vibe and cannot wait to come back and try other items from the menu!10/10 recommend!

Awesome meatball sub! I stumbled across this place while walking in downtown Monroe and was not disappointed. The service was great and the food was even better. Perfectly toasted meatball sub with no shortage of mozzarella and the right amount of marinara. I got checked on by staff/the owner throughout the meal and left full and happy!

Finally Monroe has someone that does a Brooklyn style pizza right, I went there Monday and have been back 3 days in a row from pizza to subs to salads Rocko has not disappointed. Grabbed a sausage pepper and onion sandwich Monday, then the Vito ( Italian sub) as well as the meatball parmesan yesterday then today stopped in and grabbed 2 16” pies and an Antipasto salad to take to a lunch meeting Mamma Mia!!!!!! Monroe come on out and support this place and show him the love, we have long needed this. I’ve been all over around here and Finally found a gem. Good job Rocko!!!

Nice hole on the wall Italian shop! I enjoyed my “Godfather” sub that was delicious. The service was great as the workers were very friendly and had great conversation. Family friendly as there were kids running around. Would have liked to have more options as sides instead of just pasta and potato salad(which I am sure are delicious, just not a big fan). Only seating available was outdoor, so if it’s cold outside, I recommend calling ahead and doing take out. Overall, great Italian place for a good bite.Parking: Street parking around location with an easy walkKid-friendliness: Kid friendly and may even make friends with the children of the owners.

Recommended by some folks up the street, just a chance opportunity to be in downtown Monroe... As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted warmly. Had a nice conversation with the owner, everyone was attentive and friendly! I had the 'Godfather Sandwich/Sub' and macaroni salad as my side. Delicious and filling, everything was very good! This lovely mom and pop restaurant is an authentic family run restaurant. I came in today for the first time and loved my meatball sub with jalapeños. They even gave me a side included!! Great job with your family pulling together for this amazing addition to Monroe restaurants.
