It was my first time ordering takeout from here and there was a mistake with my order and the staff bent over backwards to fix it without trying to place blame on the customer and that's rare these days. They also taught me the best way to order my preferred food in order to avoid any confusion in the future. The manager Tan is awesome.

Two weeks ago I went with my friends to this place to have dinner we decided to go to this location because we have always gone to the Pineville one Which is really good and the service is too But in this location we had a really bad experience Because to start with we had to wait 30 minutes so we could get a table And I saw that they had a lot of empty tables beside that the manager doesn’t even greet and welcome people and he looks very arrogant at the end they gave us a table and when the food we asked for arrived, we asked him for some crackers for the crabs legs and he told us that he was not gonna give us any because we didn’t need them he said that to me in a very arrogant and sarcastic way after that, he also told us that he didn’t want to give us crackers because people are stealing them and we asked them again because we really needed them and after some minutes he get back to us we only two crackers which I saw that he took them for another table that some people were using them before, and he just cleaned the crackers with napkins there were four people of us the table and the manager didn’t wanna give us four crackers, which I think it’s crazy sharing your crackers with more people. We were about to finish our food when the waitress approach us with two crackers more. I think it’s ridiculous that you don’t need to use crackers to crack crab legs because they are really hard I was trying to eat with my hands and the gloves kept tearing up and one of my friends got hurt in one of her fingers and almost cut it.. I’d say that we will never be back to this place because it was the worst experience I ever had deserve in this place is terrible and the manager is a very unkind person with a bad attitude.

I always go to shake shake crab in Pineville but since I was in Monroe I decided to go to this location. At first we had to wait for a table which I was fine with it but it took like 25 minutes to get one even though there were like 15 tables available. As always we went for the combos, it looked really good but I didn't see the crackers anywhere which I asked this man to please give me four (there were four of us at the table) the waitress identified himself as the manager and sarcastically looked at me and told me you don't need crackers for the crab legs but I asked him for some again and he told me crackers get stolen and that's why he didn't want to give us any, with a bad attitude and tone of voice he kept telling me that I could break them and use my hands. Ten minutes later he only showed up with two crackers which was crazy because we had to share and when we were about to finish our food they gave other two crackers. It was a sad experience since I have always enjoyed going to shake shake crab. I think the manager should be more kind.

These people are so rude he hung up when I questioned the lunch special because I wanted to place a large order for my family of 8 who’s visiting. I’m not a regular at this particular location. I normally order from KING CRAB IN MATTHEWS. Called back several of times no answer. Thank you for allowing me to take my business elsewhere due to your quality of service.

This review is overdue. I stopped by on Saturday, 12-31-22. I was leaving Target & wanted dinner from a new spot to end the year.I picked a good time to go as they were not very busy. I ordered the shrimp hot with all the seasonings. I also added a side of hush puppies; they were ok but I probably wouldn't order them again.I spoke to who I believe was the owner while waiting for my order. We talked about the sister restaurant on Independence in Charlotte. If I'm hungry while in Monroe, I'd stop by again.

I finally decided to take my family and check this place out and boy what a let down, the food as bland and the fried food has more breading than food, I’m fairly certain that the other reviews on here that said that the food was “amazing” don’t have much of a defined pallet! Service was ok and the place was clean I suppose but the decor is drury and plain. It would be a suitable place if you paid half the prices they were asking but the flounder is 4 tiny nugget size pieces and a basket of fries for $13 and their “Cajun” fries tasted like plain unflavored fries. Everything was cooked well I will say just bland really bland.

I used to love coming here but tan ran this place to the ground. He’s so selfish and mean to his workers and is always DRUNK ON THE JOB. He only cares about money and spends the whole day at the bar being a drunk. I feel sorry for his workers because they really carry that restaurant day and night.
