Love this place especially when it rains. You see I work in the construction field and when it rains I have the day off and get to have a sit down breakfast. The waitresses here always have a smile on their face, are very friendly and the service is normally quick. The food prices are from my opinion are very reasonable and the quality of the food is off the chain. Eat here once and you'll be back.

Food was great, customer service was excellent and they kept our coffee topped off. The grits did not need any salt/pepper they were perfect. It was too much food to eat so we ended up with a to go box. Definitely worth it and we will be back ❤️
The Skinny Cook is a true tribute to the classic American diner experience. The menu is exactly what you would expect and doesn't try to do too much, the result? Well executed and loving meals created by people with decades of experience.
The absolute highlight of the Cook? The staff. You will never find a more welcoming and down to Earth group of front house staff, even in your typical "higher class" establishments.
So if you want home cooking at a great price, in a comfortably country setting with 5 Star service, do yourself a favor and stop by the Skinny Cook and be sure to tip your waitress!
The waitress is there are really great they work as a team and you could tell that they run it professionally like they're supposed to instead of oh well that's not my section I don't want to help they literally asked all the people in there if they can help you. The food was really good. However at the price they're charging they need to give rice or potatoes with their country style steak or hamburger. Also they should offer more than one role. But I would recommend it to other people and I will go back.
Vegetarian options: They have a pretty good selection of vegetables not a huge selection but a decent one.
Parking: There were plenty of parking when we went however sometimes there is tight parking there's a lot of people that go there for lunch.
Kid-friendliness: Children are more than welcome there.
Wheelchair accessibility: It did have a place in the front for a wheelchair to get in however there is not enough room for the wheelchair to actually move around too good inside but they could make room.
