Passing through Monroe and hit up Google Maps for coffee shops and ended up at Sorella Coffee. It’s located in a really cool downtown area lined with shops, restaurants, etc. The staff were very nice and they had good coffee (they make their own syrups which is pretty cool). If you are not a coffee drinker, try the chai tea. Plenty of space to find a spot to sit for a bit; downstairs, upstairs, out front and out back. Will definitely visit Sorella again when we are in Monroe.

The atmosphere is amazing. The aesthetic is superb! Coffee is delicious and staff is so friendly. Great little spot to bring your laptop and get some work done.
We moved here from Orlando in the spring, and this was the very first coffee shop we tried and it’s since become our go-to spot. After checking out the other options nearby, this one stands out as our favorite. The shop itself is charming, and the menu strikes the perfect balance: plenty of choices without being overwhelming. I especially enjoy their seasonal drinks, and the thoughtful touches in the space don’t go unnoticed (clean bathrooms, a stocked baby changing area, tidy tables, and well-maintained trash cans).
The staff is always warm and welcoming, wait times are reasonable, and the drinks are consistently great. Overall, a solid local option that we’re excited to keep supporting!
