Waffles from the waffle house make life worth living.Had a terrific grilled chicken sandwich platter with super crispy hash browns,yum.Server was great,blonde slim gal over 40,didn't catch her name ,tag was faded.We felt very welcome!
Food is fine, the actual building is fine as well. But MAN, the staff here are absolutely unbearable man. They whine, complain, moan, groan, about everything from money to what they have to do after they get off work. They are so focused on just leaving they often forget about people during shift changes and they are extremely rude to each other. I've never seen a place where staff are out to get each other like this.WAFFLE HOUSE MANAGEMENT please look into this place and make them take a etiquette course on customer service. These people don't deserve the jobs they have if all they do is complain honestly some other person deserves it more.

My boyfriend and I come here atleast twice a week and the service is usually good here but today my experience was HORRIBLE! It was no busier than usual but it took us about 40 minutes JUST for our waitress Cassidy to finally get our drinks. I have never had such horrible costumer service. Cassidy was rude and extremely forgetful and seemed like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. After taking my order she just walked away and didn’t even take my boyfriend’s order who was sitting right next to me! She also told us we couldn’t get food to go even tho she was taking other to go orders, and was telling people to go to the other waffle house in indian trail but it’s not even open! I understand maybe being new or inexperienced, but this girl was just straight up MEAN! She even gave the guy next to us grits with cheese when he specifically told her that he’s allergic to cheese… unbelievable

Chris at the 1229 W. Roosevelt location was so rude today, he told my entire group that he didn’t like us all because we wanted our eggs done over. This is the 2nd incident with Chris and he needs to be held accountable. If possible I would like the number to headquarters ASAP!

I asked for over medium eggs, and they were slimy. Not just a bit...I mean they were completely slimy on the white part. Our server came to ask if everything was okay. I started to tell him about the eggs and he walked away. I guess, maybe he didn't hear me. He could've been distracted...but it stunk.. because I don't get to go out much...when I do, I'd like to get what I order
