Applebee's Grill + Bar

We were traveling back from the Beach, were craving wings, and found a promotion going on. Sat at the bar, were greeted promptly and served immediately.

The staff is very unprofessional and rude, the little girl behind the bar thinks it's ok to yell at customers and the mold smell is disgusting, I can't believe people eat in there.

The bartender we had was one of the best I've had before. I can't remember her name but she was by herself working the night shift. Never had to wait to refill on our drinks she was on it

I had the ribs in a sweet bbq sauce with the standard sides they offer. I say standard because the sides were average and comparable to any steakhouse or walk in restaurant. The ribs were worth the price and the blackberry lemonade was very good. Both the alcoholic and non alcoholic versions of the drink. Won't eat here all the time but in was worth the drop in visit.

Yesterday my husband and I decided to order from there. Let me tell you that food was nasty hard chicken tough riblets they threw the fries on top of all that barbecue all that mess for 35 dollars. Shut your doors applebees I am done with your mess

The food was terrible. I will never eat here again. The table next to us said that it's hit or miss when you come there. Well, it was a miss!

Well I can’t rate the food because after 15 minutes of waiting to be seated along with about 6 other people, we were totally ignored and no one ever came to seat us. We and many others waiting gave up and left. The servers were in the back all huddled together and did not care we were there. I definitely expected better from an Applebees. This was the most horrible treatment I have ever received at a restaurant. The person that was the manager at 6:00pm on Saturday night, should be fired! I now understand why at a prime time for dinner, there were very few people eating there.

Our appetizers (boneless wings), which were free due to our short wait to be served, were a little overcooked but the rest of the meal was good. The staff was friendly and my date and I even shared some laughs with them.The atmosphere was was comfortable but the restaurant was short staffed.

I've tried and tried to give this Applebee's a chance. I don't expect exemplary food or mixed drinks (it is a chain restaurant after all), but every single time they disappoint with their poor service. I'm not going to go on and on about all the details of our terrible experience AGAIN tonight, but trust me. Avoid this location if you expect decent service and food in less than an hour. (The fact that they can't even fill the dining room on a Saturday evening right next to a movie theater says a lot). There are too many other restaurants in Mooresville - you can find a better option that will give you a great experience. (Rio 150 - WHY DIDN'T WE GO THERE TONIGHT?! It's SO worth the wait. Damn you, Applebee's Big Easy Menu commercials!) This was the last chance though, I won't be giving them another opportunity to ruin my evening.

it was awful. never going there again. the food wasn’t cooked correctly and i had a singular chicken nugget on my mozzarella sticks which is disgusting because i didn’t even order chicken nuggets. my sister and her boyfriend’s food wasn’t cooked either. i gave them the benefit of the doubt by eating my food i received and i got sick off of it.

Very bad services, the boy was new and the ladies with no experience did not help him to make the account, it took 1 hour from when we requested the account until the payment could be made.

Probably one of the most unpleasant Applebee's I've been too. Food was overall tasteless, boneless wings were extremely hard, tortilla chips were overcooked and brown, the chicken quesidillas hardly had any meat in them and our drinks tasted like juice. Second meal never came and this was 40+ minutes later. We eventually asked for check and left. Very disastified as we're new to town.

Poor service, wrong order, wasn't informed on not having all the components for the pretzels. I'm not sure what's so important in the back she couldn't get back there fast enough. She took my glass to the back to get refill of tea brought it back no ice and hot tea that was disgusting. It never seems to get better but worse. Servers their don't seem to expect good tips because service is poor and that would explain why there's maybe one or two good ones here. This place used to be nice, but when I mention eating applebees and it wasn't that good they always go, "what you expect it's applebees". I think this place needs a revamping.

Went in tonight for drinks and appetizer with husband. Ordered the Classis Combo appetizer to share. Samantha came back and told us that there were no tortilla chips for the spinach dip. I asked if 1they could substitute with something else since they didn't have an item on the combo. She went and asked the manager and came back and told us no. Kat, the manager came out and also said here was no substitutions. OK, I understand that, but since they did not have an item on in the combo, logically there could be a substitution made. The manager, Kat again told me no. So I asked if we were getting the spinach dip with nothing to dip with. She said we would not be getting the spinach dip at all. That it was not even on the menu. This us very confusing, because it is on the menu and I had it at this same restaurant Tuesday, just 3 days ago. So, I asked if she could clarify, we ordered the Classic Combo, but they would not be serving the spinach dip AND I would still be charged the full amount. She said, if I wanted, she could take some off the price. The manager did take $5 of, but I feel if I had not kept questioning her, she would have charged me the full price.
Also, still haven't understood why she told me the Spinach Dip was not on the menu either.
Samantha the bartender was pleasant and just following the manager.
Disappointed that we were unable to get a full combo and due to the restaurant not being able to fulfill the order. We even asked to just get some extra cheese sticks. Again, the manager, said there are no substitutions.
I feel like the manager should have been more flexible since Applebee's did not have tortilla chips.
