Great little spot on the water. Large beer and drink list. We had the wings with the house sauce, they were cooked to perfection. They were not too spicy with a nice Thai chili/BBQ flavor. Highly recommend!

Apps & Taps is a great little dive bar nestled up high on a hill overlooking Lake Norman with plenty of boat parking and $5 bloody marys on Sunday! We kind of stumbled upon this place after failing to find a boat slip at the neighboring restaurants but I'm so glad we did! You can't beat the view from the patio on a sunny day with a refreshing beverage! The menu was HUGE. I'm honestly not quite sure how the kitchen keeps up with such a variety on the menu. I decided on the blackened chicken Caesar wrap which was actually *incredible*. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and the Caesar dressing just brought everything together. The side salad was wet and the plate became watery. It was almost like the lettuce leaves had been washed but not dried so I thought that was interesting. But other than that, great spot to grab lunch! Oh, and no shoes required on the patio!

The bar drinks are good. Salads, Po Boy, Cod Sandwich, and wings, etc. are great! Special Frozen drinks are overpriced.

This place is overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. Drinks on the patio are served in styrofoam cups.... Super classy! Whatever you do, do NOT order anything from the pizza menu unless you want to eat a half hour after everybody with you does because they literally run out to a food truck in the parking lot to get it for you. It's understaffed and unfriendly. On the positive side, they play good classic rock and it's on the water with good boat parking. My advice after twice in a row having crappy service, save yourself a headache and go next door where the food is great and they treat you like you matter no matter how busy they are.
