I was in the restaurant when this last person rudely got up and left. The waitress was very respectful and did nothing wrong. The food is great and service terrific. I don’t know what these people had a problem with but maybe they came in with an attitude! Never have I had any issue with this restaurant! Best place for food and price!

Unfortunately the service was so bad we didn’t stay to order or eat. The waitress was so rude, we tried to ask her a question about the menu twice the first time she replied with attitude and kept going, we brushed it off and thought (ow, maybe she is busy and overwhelmed, the second time she replied in a rudely: I don’t know what you are talking about) and kept going with the worst attitude) we got up and left saying WE speak your language (English) if you don’t know what we are talking about and don’t know how to answer our question YOU DONT’E our business.Thumb down 👎🏻 to her service! The menu looked good and seems to have good items but they need positive inviting servers!!

The Diner Debacle We ventured out for breakfast on Saturday morning, choosing a seemingly quiet place they were not that busy and told us to choose a table. We did and it was so empty their were available booths on either side of the table we chose. After settling in, we placed our order with our waitress, expecting the usual breakfast fare.
However, we watched in surprise as the patrons who sat down on either side of us received their meals first. Puzzled, we inquired about the delay in our order. This led to an unexpected encounter with a second waitress, sporting what seemed like an exaggerated southern drawl, and very upset over our inquire. She then informed us that she had entered our order after the others, on either side of us despite our earlier arrival. She clearly does not see the issue.
When we questioned her involvement, given she wasn't our server, she retorted with a dismissive, "Well, you can leave." My husband, amused by the absurdity, chuckled and insisted we were there for the food. However, I was left uneasy, imagining the worst could happen to our meal. Spitting in it etc.
True to my suspicion, I couldn't bring myself to eat, worried about the potential sabotage. AS the other waitress was clearly spiteful and ready for revenge. Following this unpleasant exchange, the diner's owner appeared, offering apologies and a spontaneous 50% discount on our meal, along with complimentary cake, in an attempt to mend the situation. (We asked for nothing except our meal. But we took the discount and cake why not?)
While the owner's gesture was appreciated, it couldn't erase the discomfort caused by the server's toxicity. Her attitude was beyond unprofessional; it was downright harmful to the diner's atmosphere and reputation.
In the end, despite the owner's efforts, we've decided against returning again. The memory of the incident has left a sour taste that not even free cake could sweeten.
The Takeaway? Just as not every breakfast is a culinary masterpiece, not all customer service is created equal. If this server could shed her apparent grudge and attitude, she might just excel at her job. Also drop the fake accent we all know its not real Darlin.

Oh my goodness!! We had the most amazing experience!! Our check for our family of 4 was only $61!! They serve breakfast all day on Saturdays and Sundays. We all decided to have breakfast for lunch and they did not disappoint!! The service was great and the food was super fresh!! The portions that you get are well worth the money that you spend. We would have taken some of the food to go if we hadn't already had plans to take our kids to fearless after this outing. I highly recommend you try it out!!!

A dirty glass with a clump of who knows what on the inside filled with tea? How can you not see that? Should have left but hey give it another chance, idk what that sandwich was supposed to be? Italian sub??? Dry bread and some nasty cold cuts and shredded mush lettuce. Chicken Cesar salad drenched in salad dressing with old mushy lettuce? Food is awful, a few weeks ago we tried breakfast. The French toast was soggy and gross.

Really good food and wide variety of options with breakfast all day! Very reasonable prices and great, fast, friendly service. The hummus is definitely a stand out. We’ve tried many things over several visits and have always been pleased.

A few of us ladies from the gym get together once a month for lunch and we like to try out different places in the Mooresville NC area.
This was our first time at Athena’s and we had a blast!
We had Savanah as our waitress and she was super fun, funny and helpful :) I don’t think we stopped laughing the whole time (well, at least until our food arrived ;)
Everyone loved their food, it was all super yummy. I can’t wait to bring my family next time and try out some of their other food options (very big menu :)
We finished with some baklava and the pieces are huge and so tasty.
We will definitely be back!

Went with a group of friends. We were talking and getting caught up so the waitress stopped by a couple of times before we had our act together. She was patient and funny. Food was good - I had Greek Chicken Wrap—good value for the money. Savannah was an excellent waitress. We will be back for the food and Savannah. She didn't scold me when I accidentally walked out with their cup. ;)

Pork chops are 1/5, dry and overcooked . Tasted literally disgusting the next day . had to throw it out . Salad was 4/5 Fries are 1/5 , even mac donald’s has better tasting fries
