6 of us had a wonderful dining experience at the Blu Star Grill. The owner, Nelson, genuinely greeted us and shared some history of running his business. He has such a sweet nature about him and a love for what he does, taking care of people with good food! That care translate to all of his staff as well. We had Mahi, Elk, and Salmon meals which had a variety of flavors . All the sides were tasty( veggies and fruit) which completed the meal! Do yourself a favor and stop over to this dining experience. This Marylander will be back!

Visiting from Maryland. Loved the food and that all the seafood is wild caught and the meets are grass fed!. Delicious! The owner Nelson was wonderful and so friendly. Our waitress Hannah was excellent! Will definitely go again when I'm this area!

I have been coming here for years! Aside from the standard menu, which is fantastic on its own. The owner also has weekly specials and even state inspired Items when they are doing their "Tour of America" event. Which keeps the restaurant always feeling fresh. The staff is wonderful, pleasant, kind and tentative.Most days, you can even catch the owner present in the restaurant, which is a real treat. He is an awesome man, active in the community, and appreciates feedback on recommendations for the menu!Lunch or Dinner you just can't go wrong with Blu Star Grill!!

Ridiculously good!Everything about this place was amazing. My wife had a "build your own" Elk burger on a brioche bun with Wisconsin cheddar cheese that was out of this world. I had the wild-caught Alaskan salmon on a sun-dried tomato wrap with avocadoes and coleslaw that was the best wrap I've ever had. The sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes were also top notch. Everything was reasonably priced. It was nicely decorated, quiet and delivered with stellar friendly service from Hannah and Nelson. We'll be back!
Changing my review after getting their Thanksgiving and Christmas meal deals. They provide a couple of main options and a bunch of sides to order ahead and pick up a day or 2 before. They come in big foil trays that you just throw in the oven to heat through. The food is delicious and fed our family of 6 (including 4 hungry teens) with plenty leftovers for a full meal the next day and still had leftovers again for snacking/lunch.We got turkey breast, stuffing, broccoli casserole, mash potatoes, sweet potato casserole, mac & cheese, turkey gravy, cranberry jelly, fresh cranberry sauce, and an apple pie. The turkey breast was very well seasoned and juicy - so flavorful, the fresh cranberry sauce is tart and vibrant, the mac & cheese was rich and very cheesy, and everything else was well seasoned and tasty. The apple pie was a good balance - not too sweet with a crisp lattice crust on top and it was HUGE.These prepared meals made Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners so easy and stress free.It may seem a bit pricey but for how delicious it was and for the amount of food you get it's a decent value.Parking: Parking can be hard to find out front of the restaurant but there is a lot out back with plenty of spaces.

Way Overpriced food that is mediocre with terrible service. The wait staff is no where to be seen once your food comes out. Expect to pay $50-$75 for lunch or dinner for just 2 people.The owner was always great until one night when there was an incident that should have been avoided. He was very rude and in the wrong!
