We decided to try this place for dinner and we’re not disappointed. The pulled pork and brisket was juicy and delicious. I also enjoyed the tangy coleslaw and the French fries were exactly how I like them - thin and crispy. We’ll be back.
Very good barbecue I love the brisket and pulled pork. The service was amazing as well and the sweet smell of barbecue is the perfect ambiance.

Our family dined at Chefry's on Sunday for an early lunch. The staff were nice and service was good, but the food was really hit or miss.. The Mac n cheese and chicken tenders were good and the jalapeño cornbread was great, but most of the meats were too dry for our preferences - especially the brisket and the pork belly appetizer. The latter was hard to eat and the accompanying verde sauce didn't seem a great pairing. The cinnamon-like donut balls weren't very good and the creamy sauce they came with was watery; the banana pudding was really good, but served in a jar that only held about 3 bites worth. I debated between 2/3 stars for this review, but figure that folks who prefer their bbq on the "lean side" as opposed to fatty or juicy may find it more enjoyable and I don't want to discourage them from giving it a shot. We probably won't be back.

It smelled great when we walked in, so I was hopeful. We ordered a variety of dishes as it was our first time here and we wanted to try a little of everything. Our faves were the brisket, cornbread, baked beans, and farmers salad. The bbq popover was okay, but would have been better with more toppings (cheese, avocado, sauce, etc.) There were mixed feelings about the mac & cheese, and the pork belly nuggets were so bad, my husband and I spit them out. The little ones seemed to enjoy their kids meals, and several at our table liked the banana pudding. The doughnut holes were dry and would've benefited from a thicker cream cheese dipping sauce. If you go, read other reviews and choose your dishes thoughtfully.

Awesome BBQ. We are moving to North Carolina from Mn. We were here this week looking for our new home. My wife loves that we are moving to a state with great BBQ. This place was perfect for our first BBQ meal in NC. We will be regulars for sure, once we move here. Met the owner and he was great too!!The pulled pork was sooo Good!! We loved the granny’s coleslaw which had apples and peanuts. Such an amazing addition to traditional coleslaw. The street corn salad side was super tasty and original too. Was spicy but not too spicy. Corn bread was super good too with pieces of corn inside. We ordered half a pound of meet and it was generous. One meal was enough for us to share, but if your super hungry, maybe get and extra side and meet.Most the reviews are amazing because this place is great!!! Support this place and give them good advice if needed in person. Don’t go giving a 1 star because things are not always perfect. We are all human. We need more small business like this!!!God bless!!

Service, Food, all the above. Yelpers people removed my scathing review because.... I'm guessing it was honest. No service, no food left, no taste, nothing really good. I find it interesting that yelp removed my review 3-4 months AFTER I posted it. No, I haven't gone back - it's like I said in my first review.... I dint want to blow up an entire afternoon just trying to get lunch.

I Doordashed my food from here and it was terrible. I spent over $100 for 2 3 meat plates thinking it would serve 4 people the portions are tiny! It was barely enough food for 2. They forgot my Mason jar banana pudding. Sent no bbq sauce, meat was bland and cold, I could go on. I contacted Doordash for them to tell me it's on the restaurant not them. (Which I completely understand) I will not be going back and advise everyone else to not even bother trying them.

Not terrible, but when they use an electric indoor "smoker oven" and don't use a traditional / old-school wood/coal fire smoker it's just not the same for me when there are so many other great choices in Mooresville that do. (I.e, Big Tiny's, Lancaster's, and soon Smoke Pit. Noble Smoke and Midwood still the best in the Charlotte / LKN area as far as I'm concerned). Also, some weirdness about where do I place my order (just so you know it's in the front when you walk in). Maybe they are still working out the kinks but seems strange for a place named Blue Smoke BBQ to not have the smoked BbQ figured out. #Iwantedtolikethisplace

Came here with the kids for an early dinner and i was blown away! I got “The backwards BBQ popover”…it was absolutely mouth watering. It was a sandwich with the most amazing filling, each bite was better than the last. Definitely a repeat for the whole family!Kid-friendliness: 100% Kid/Family friendly. Lots of high chairs that are in great working order and CLEAN!
