this place was so good for many years, new ownership, and the fear of waitresses of the new owner to expresss if food was cooked correct has made a large group of us never to return for over a year, servings are smaller, prices have gone up and the front door still not repaired. It is just a matter of time this place will close up

Went today $12.15 plus tip . I did get a piece of cornbread . Not sure there was even a whole chicken tender in there . Will try to attach picture

Many locals were dining. Decorated with Nascar motif from the 80s and 90s, posters and pictures adorn the walls. Service was great, the waitress was very attentive. Now for the food...The biscuits and gravy need a makeover. The biscuits were soft and flakey but the gravy was nothing more than a thinned flour rue. The gravy lacked flavor, no black pepper, no bacon grease, no substance, only flour and water, the worst we have experienced. The over easy eggs were prepared to order. The has browns were scorched, cooked too fast with too high a heat. The head cook/chef needs help.

This is the only restaurant left in Mooresville with home cooking and that small town atmosphere. The food is so delicious just like grandma would make, and the staff has southern charm. I highly recommend that you eat here!

So, we went Sept 11. 2024.
Service was great, food was very bad. Pancakes burnt, then came out raw. Hashbrowns burnt. Scrambled eggs were ok. 2nd time we've had bad food. Not returning. Perhaps turn down hot surface?

Lacy was our server and she did a great job. She is always wonderful in how she takes care of us. Today we experienced a very bad experience in that the cook walked out of the kitchen and walked directly by our booth with his pants down far enough to expose is entire butt and his gray underwear. Such a display almost made us leave. We certainly hope he does not do this again.

A delightful, casual, well-established eatery frequented by locals. We enjoyed a reasonably-priced breakfast and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent but could have come to our table warmer than it did. Portions were good and the server was attentive. If you are in Mooresville and wanting a good breakfast for a very good price, I recommend Corine's. You might even recognize a former NASCAR driver there when you go.
