I've experienced this restaurant a lot over the years, but today was my first breakfast. Let me just say whoever is cooking and plating have no idea how.
1st, my waitress filled the coffee cup to the brim, leaving no room for sugar or cream.
2nd, the biscuits and gravy were served in a basket?! Have y'all ever eaten biscuits & GRAVY? Had to ask for a plate.
3rd, the pancakes had their chips and pecans all in the center. Not evenly dispersed. A lump of melted chocolate in a pancake was not very pleasing to the eye or the palate.
In conclusion, I believe they need a few lessons.

It wasn't busy. No one was in the dining or waiting area. I waited to be seated for several minutes, and then it was just awkward, so I left.
I ordered 2 family meals, the roast beef dinner and the grilled chicken tender dinner. Each came with 2 sides and biscuits. It was a lot of food and it was very good.

Sophia was the best server. Always made sure my drink was filled (big pet peeve). The store is always awesome. Food cooked a little too done, but tasty. The chairs outside surprised me how unconformable they were.

This is the slowest Cracker Barrel we’ve ever experienced. Food would taste better if it were to ever come out HOT!! Never does!
The bowls they bring your sides in are baby size quantities. Really….just put a spoonful n the patrons plate - we just might get another bite in quantity. This place needs much improvement!
Kid-friendliness: Waitress did not even bring the high hair fur baby. Had to get it our self

Have gone here many times over the years, and it used to be consistent in good service and food quality. Today was a different story…….we were sat to a table quickly, but it took a long time before our waiter came to our table to even ask about drinks. Was almost 40 minutes in getting our food which was simple for just 2 people. When the food finally came, looked & felt like it had been “sitting” awhile in the back. Luke warm food including toast and biscuits. Overall, just poor service and food quality. Our waiter was beyond ultra slow in waiting on any tables that I saw. It was not that busy either. Might be our last trip there.
