When I walk into a restaurant I expect the service to be great whether I'm dining in or taking out. I do not expect the wait time to be an hour or more for two buttermilk pancakes, scrabbled egg with cheese, fried apples and chicken/turkey sausage. Whats even worse is to be told that it doesn't matter if you place your order first, if someone else places an order after you that's smaller than your order, they will receive their order first. All small orders are prepped, prepared and delivered before they would prepare a large order (order for three, etc.) It doesn't matter if you were first or tenth in line which shows me you do not appreciate me as a customer! The waiter's service was "Simply Professional."

My granddaughter and I ate there yesterday afternoon. I have never been to a Cracker Barrel where the food and service was horrbile! Plate was full of grease and the hash browns were disgusting!! We do not have a Cracker Barrel where I live, so I always stop by for a fantastic meal when traveling and never experienced anything like this previously!!

Worst experience ever, as if s no one cares about anything, bad waiter, horrible undercook food, and when you check out they wont even ask anything as if they know. This place is in desperate need of a Mgr. Tell me frankly in the attached picture is a proud cook will serve bacon or something like this

Just a very bad experience overall. The place was very busy, the dining room was dirty, and the service was non-existent . My food ( after waiting a very long time) came out cold and inedible. I was so disappointed that I couldn't even complain. It would not have made any difference. There you have it !
Been a while since I’ve been to CB and taking the gamble at this location proved no different than my last three visits. Sadly, there is a systemic training issue that needs to addressed. I don’t care if it’s your first job or you are a senior lead waiter. Checked in online (which does not update your wait time. Big flaw). It said it was a 35 min wait. Waited 25 mins and went in and was told we were 4th. Another 10 mins and we were seated.However, this only began our delay. Waitress was definitely new and likely her first job ever. Tried to give her grace and the benefit of the doubt. Saw her make several mistakes with other tables and ours was no exception. She made no less than 10 trips to our table when we asked questions she did not know and she would be gone for 5 or more minutes at time. Then when she would come back, she would forget part of what we asked. I had to keep reminding her. She would keep coming back only serving one thing at a time. Like, I needed more creamer for coffee and she would only bring back a couple like it was being rationed. I asked for more sweetener at the same time as the creamer and she would make a separate trip for that.All this delay created inefficiencies and essentially her running around but not accomplishing anything. She only had a handful of tables at that. I felt sorry for her, but after 45 mins waiting on our food I was getting frustrated. The food was CB good, but everything that encompassed my last several experiences, one in Matthews, NC where I just walked out after not getting served, made me realize that Cracker Barrel has gone down hill big time. Sad, very sad. I will not be going back to any location… ever! Just not worth the headache.
