Nice place for a group dinner. One of the better if not best places in Mooresville or the lake area in general. However the food can be hit or miss. Spinach dip was not it. Weird flavors and textures. Entire table agreed. Steaks are usually good but could use a bit more salt and they don’t always come out exactly as requested when it comes to temp. Cocktails are great and they have a wide selection. Same with wine menu although we’re not big wine drinkers. Biggest issue is that they tend to overbook in my experience. Too many people/tables and the kitchen can’t keep up. We waited nearly 1.5 hours for our food this last time and we were only a table of 6. I’d still recommend Epic overall given the other options in the area (or lack thereof) but there’s room for improvement.

Every visit to Mooresville lands us at Epic, at least once (often times twice) during our trip. And our favorite server, Mack, is beyond incredible! Drinks, food & service is top notch, and we always look forward to fun drinks and chatting with Mack! 10 out of 10 for sure!

Made a reservation two months in advance for a Thursday 6:30pm party of 4 for my birthday celebration. Requested a booth or partial booth due to my back problems. Despite heavy rain and traffic arrived at 6:25 and checked in. After a 30 minute wait we were told they “hoped” to seat us within 10 minutes. Others had long waits as well. Finally complained and a friendly manager helped get us seated within a few minutes, but no booth was available. At that point I just took it and dealt with the back pain. Really disappointing that Epic can’t manage reservations and turn tables over like over like other fine restaurants can. Spent $240+ for that experience. Shocking lack of customer service by management. (In fairness, our waiter was great, but don’t think she was made aware of our wait or the fact that we couldn’t get a booth we requested 2 months earlier). Not the experience we paid for, planned ahead for, drove 40 mins thru heavy rain for.

The best in town if you’re willing to spend a little. The service is top notch, and they even have a gentleman on staff who can expertly recommend wine pairings. The food and overall experience are excellent. The only downside is learning that servers are charged for the restaurant’s house-branded pens, which feels unnecessarily greedy. Still, when the food and service are this good, that irritation is easy to set aside.

Great menu. Lots of options for both entree and appetizer. Service very attentive. Make sure you try the bread pudding and the angry lobster tails.

My favorite restaurant. The bacon is amazing and the tomahawk is the best steak anywhere.

Q was our waiter, he was excellent! We've dined here many times. Food this trip wasn't as good as the past which is unfortunate considering the price.

Wonderful food...very loud and hard to carry on a conversation with a table of 6. Pricey but totally worth it.

The food and service were outstanding, however, our reservation was for 6:00 pm and we were not seated until 6:30 pm. Unacceptable! Also, the noise level at Epic is always too loud. Everyone is shouting to be heard. I appreciate the hardwood floors, but noise cancelling baffles need to be installed both on the walls and ceiling. This is the main reason why we only eat here once or twice a year. It is not a calm environment.

The service at the bar was welcoming and friendly. We were seated upstairs for dinner, which was quieter. Our server was informative and professional. Our food was hot and delicious,

Short ribs were delicious as were cranberry/walnut bread and spicy two meal with filet medallions and shrimp. Lobster bisque too thick and way too salty. Not worth $14/bowl. Coconut cocktail was amazing.
