This is my third visit to Lotus and I have enjoyed every visit , my grandson said it has now become tradition to have a meal at Lotus when we visit from Roxboro . Staff always fast and friendly , the portions are so big and so flavorful and I can't rave enough about the crab rangoon which is hands down the best I ever had . Will definitely be back

Ordered through Uber eats , tastes like a health code violation, chicken wings taste like oil that fish have been frying in, ordered shrimp fried rice got what I believe was stale pork fried rice and the main Mongolian beef was flat and salt was the flavor , The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had .

With not a lot of great Chinese options in the area, Lotus is the winner, but still has opportunity to improve. We ordered a ton of food for our family reunion. The sweet and sour chicken and the hibachi chicken and steak stood out as the clear winners. Everyone was very pleased with these two and had no complaints. I judge a Chinese restaurant on their ability to produce an accurate General Tso Chicken, and Lotus definitely had the right flavor. Big win! Unfortunately, the heat was too low and the sauce (while correct in flavor profile) was a little too bland. It was a 3/5 as far as the General Tso Chicken. The noodles were also good; not the best we've ever had, but still hearty and had some flavor. All in all, we'd definitely return here. Well done, Lotus!

Over 10 year customer, there’s a new owner and we had an issue with food missing last time, this time when we ordered the quality of food has just gone way down. The crab rangoon taste like whipped sugar cream cheese, completely different recipe seems there’s no crab anymore, not even a crab flavor, the fried rice doesn’t have a good flavor and the pork taste bad, they also forgot our sauce for the sweet and sour chicken.

Owner was dismissive. Half the food was great. Half was lousy and won’t even make it as leftovers. It went in the garbage. That never happens here with Chinese food. Didn’t put soup lids on properly and it spilled in the car. No chopsticks. I went there for lunch and loved it. Was hoping this was our new go to place.

Once, this was the best Chinese restaurant I had ever eaten at. It recently changed ownership, and it is now every Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. If you'd heard rave reviews of Mooresville's Lotus and wanted to try it? I'm sorry, that age of glory is over.

Stopped here on our way home. Around the area there are several choices for Asian cuisine. Thought we'd try here first. Ordered the crispy orange beef, spicy garlic beef, crab Rangoon, salt&pepper calamari and sweet sour chicken. All were very tasty ? I really enjoyed the calamari, wish it was heads and rings ??♂️??, but the flavor was good. The staff checked to see if all was well and refill drinks several times. And all staff very friendly and welcoming. It was clean inside and restrooms were clean. I like the "to share" portions you recieve when dinning in. Makes it more family style of eating. And even though 2 of our dishes were spicy they were not overwhelmingly as not to enjoy them ???

So upset they sold!! Been eating here 3 years and called today and not only was the prices jacked up but this new owner is a complete get over!! He charges to remove ANY ingredients from your food or rice Including pork!! Not everyone wants pork in their rice/food. If it’s made to order you simply just DON’T put the ingredients in!! And you charge for that?? And don’t get me started on the inside. It smells so bad now. Sadly, I would recommend finding another restaurant. This simply is NOT the same.
