Mako Beach Volleyball Club

We visited Mako beach club from out of town and had so much fun at their open play and their Big Kahuna tournament. We play regularly BB level play, and this is the best sand we have ever played on - it’s soft, it’s taken care of, and the environment is unmatched. It shows that Jeff and his team care about their courts, their community, and the environment they provide. We can’t wait to come back!

We love MAKO! My husband and I moved to Mooresville from Colorado this year and we were thrilled to learn about Mako just a few miles from our home. We joined up with a team of locals there and have been enjoying this activity in our new home town. It's just such a GREAT vibe where you can allow your daily troubles to melt away through physical activity, a cold drink and upbeat beachy music. If you haven't been to Mako you need to CHECK IT OUT!

Just started playing things the summer league here this year. This place is a little oasis. Beautiful courts. Bar and I think food as well. Tons of games for leagues always going on

4 really well maintained sand volleyball courts with leagues and open play available. "Tiki" bar with drinks and food and the people there are fun!

Nice people, fun place. However, if I knew we wouldn't be able to notifying about missing a game without paying a no show fee (despite calling, leaving voicemails, and emailing 3 hours in advance) and drinks for the other team (a $70 bill)....I wouldn't have signed up. I was moving this week and the rest of the team couldn't make it. So we notified, per the guidelines. Yet I still received full charges as if we were simply "no shows." I tried calling and emailing and having a conversation but could reach no one other than one email pretty much saying too bad.

Great Vibe, excellent set-up, even better owners and staff. Great place to have a party or get together with friends.
