I've been here a few times, the food has gone severely downhill in terms of quality the past month or so. Not to mention I had to wait and wait for some service because you can't hire enough people? Preposterous!

Great food establishment to meet with friends. Watch sports on large screen TV’s or go on a date night. Staff is great- friendly makes you feel at home
Just wow! I witnessed sitting in my vehicle who I think is the owner! Being really rude and hostile to a band that was scheduled to play there Oct 18 2025! The band looked like they just got done setting up and then I think the owner started ask one of the band members how much are you getting paid to play? The band member told him. Then I believe owner said something like can you promise you will have enough followers to pay you? Band member said I can’t promise anything but to do a job I was booked for or something like that! The owner said I can’t promise to pay you so pack your stuff up and leave! If you give any problems I will call the police. I was hearing all of this in my vehicle thinking dang that poor band didn’t do anything but show up to do a job! The band had disbelief and confusion all over their faces! What I think is the owner would not even give the band member a chance to speak. I came there early to get a seat to support the local band Mojo Band that I’ve seen play many times. A 1st class band! I couldn’t believe how the owner showed his butt like that out in the parking lot as if no one was going to hear it in which a lot of people heard it! to a well known local band! I feel the owner was way out of line for no reason! The band spent time, gas to coming there to provide entertainment just to be turned away when they was booked with no pay! Now that I witnessed this I will make sure all bands and people I know will hear what really happened! The truth! Since I am from here in which I know a lot of people and bands here! If you are a band looking to play here make sure you have enough fans to pay your band! Your fans have to pay you! He’s not going to pay you from the business! He did no cover charge! So if you don’t he will do to you what he did to the mojo band! Hiring a band is to help bring new customers in not just their fans! Fans don’t go to ever place that a band plays and they don’t all show up at one time! I’m sure Michael Waltrip would not be happy with the owner behavior! In fact Michael would be embarrassed and disgusted how you treated The mojo band and you being disrespectful to the whole Waltrip family name! I know the racing community well due to me being raised here! Hopefully he finds out! Folks this is factual and true in what me and other people getting ready to come in witness. We all left and took our service somewhere else! I didn’t want to spend a penny there after witnessing that because if he’s going to treat a band like that then he’s going to treat customers like that! Much better a friendlier place to go.

Server on Sunday evening ~6:30 was non-existent. 3 tables, watched one walk out. We would have done the same but already had our drinks so we stuck it out. Found the server on the way out - sitting in a booth on the other side of the restaurant. Food was ok and place is cleaner than the previous restaurant in this space. We live close and wanted to like this place. Hope the tip we left made it to the other lady that realized the other server wasn’t around.

Rv parked in Statesville NC, no cable, slow internet but we wanted to watch the NASCAR race. Let’s try Michale Waltrips Taproom in Mooresville NC (can’t get anymore NASCAR than that right?!) Wrong! Multiple TV’s all tuned to FOOTBALL. We asked for one tv to be tuned to the race, then we had to read subtitles while we LISTENED TO FOOTBALL on the speakers. What?! My partner said the wings were good and our server was efficient. But please…honor your heritage here !

First time eating here at the Mooresville location. Barbara was great. So friendly and made us feel welcome. Burgers were really good but the star of the show was the GOAT tots. They were awesome. Will definitely be back.
