Unfortunately the fried rice I ate felt like it was re-heated from 3 days ago. The chicken was very dry. Sadly, very disappointing and I hate to give a mom and local restaurant a poor review. On the positive, food portions are large and place is clean.

We have ordered from here in the past but the last two times the food has been awful not sure if new chefs or new owners but the dumplings are now thick and chewy taste shop bought and warmed up and egg rolls the same. Our last order was completely wrong very disappointed will not be wasting money here again.

This is pretty much my go to place for really good Chinese fresh food . Tried the Lo main and rice dishes plus the sides. Great food , big portions , and the staff is very warm and helpful. Always a treat !
First time trying and I can say that I will be back to try other dishes. Place is small and has tables but limited. It isnt the usual chinese takeout place where there is a huge counter and a couple chairs and a fridge. Maybe one table with menus and business cards on it.I wanted to try beef with mushroom but they didnt have it on their menu. I did ask if they can switch the broccoli with mushroom and they were able to accomodate so I was appreciative of that. I also got egg drop soup. Now the egg drop soup i did not like as much. The egg white were shredded into tiny chunks. I prefer the bigger chunks from most chinese place.The beef was ok. It was not what i was expecting. I prefer the new york style with brown sauce. Not really bad for a take out.

Out of all the American Chinese takeout restaurants this is the only one that I think about. Chinese takeout is an afterthought most of the time, but I had dinner here once about 5 months ago and I still think about that meal sometimes. They just do so many things right and the staff are so kind and wholesome. I know someone who went to Rice Fun after not going there for several years and the staff remembered her by name. The dumplings were the best frozen dumplings you can get. The portions were pretty big but the prices were small. The service was quick, facilities clean, aptomosphere acceptable, and it's the only business that really stands out to me in Mooresville NC. It's sooooo tolerable and everything else in the highway is unbelievably stressful. Rice Fun offered me a little oasis of good food and pleasant memories. For that, I'm happy to give them five stars.
