This is about as unique an eating establishment as you'll ever find. If you are a veteran, you'll be greeted warmly and celebrated as you were always meant to. If not, like the signs say, this is a living museum with plenty of folks ranging from World War II to modern day heroes, ready to share their stories.
By all means, come by and enjoy the food and the stories. You won't be disappointed.

This is probably the coolest place I've ever been! All the guys made me think of my dad. My fiance was given beads in a super cool ceremony they do for EVERY veteran that comes in! So special! I could spend every day here. These people are heroes.

If you’re a veteran you owe it to yourself to stop into Richard’s Coffee Shop and Museum, and Veteran’s Welcome Home Center. I instantly felt like I was at home with family and friends the moment I walked into Richard’s. The wonderful people who run this place made me feel welcome and proud of my service to this country more than I ever have. I will be back whenever I travel I-77.

Great place to relax listening to local musicians, sharing a cup of Joe and just chilling with vets from all military branches. The war museum is also very personal and patriotic. Highly recommend a visit at least once. And good for taking the family, especially young kids.
