The sushi was great but the chef went heavy with all the sauce. Sushi doesn't need the amount of sauce that we received. Less is more and a drizzle of sauce is all that was needed. Service was great. We will definitely stop by again.

Came in on a Wednesday (3/18)for a birthday party of 12 people. i told our server before we started our order that we were paying separate, even told him while ordering when each check stopped. when we got our check i then again brought it to his attention that it wasn't separated, he then told me "its up to me to split a check" i went to cashier and spent another 15 minutes going through the check and separating. never have i ever been told that its on me to split a check. here or anywhere. not to mention we were barely checked on, drinks didn't get refilled and we didn't get our soups or salads until our food came out. usually id understand with one server but we were the only 1 of 3 tables occupying the restraunt. if your going to have 1 server for the whole resturant atleast have a good one who knows what they are doing. will NOT be back

The service was INCREDIBLY slow....we were ONLY ONES THERE besides the owners family. We waited 15 min for our drinks. The place was too warm and smelled of spoiled fish.... Avoid it. We walked out....

Service was great! Unfortunately the food was horrible on a Sunday ( sushi not available on Sundays so I can’t rate the sushi) ordered several apps and they all were less than stellar. Pot suckers - pan seared were cold in the center, tempura shrimp full of breadcrumbs and very little shrimp, crab rangoons were not fresh or recently fried, Korean fried chicken was old and dripping with sauce that taste horrible. The beer was cold and that was the highlight of my dining experience ?

Don't eat here my plate came with a cockroach in the fried rice, absolutely disgusting! Manager didn't seem to care and made it no effort to resolve the issue. Service is definitely one star, not worth the trip or time. It's exposed kitchen is very dirty, will not be coming back.

Food is great. Price and portion size is good. Service is lacking because of staffing issues. Atmosphere hurts the worse because of using the dining room as an office and storage and not mopping the dining room well enough. Its sticky.

My family and I decided to have lunch on Sun 2/18 after church and our experience was horrible. The waitress was yelling to the other worker across the room several times getting everyone's food orders mixed up forgetting about not only us but other people as well. She served us our salad and proceeded to tell us yeah I know the lettuce looks old its from Walmart and there's a recall on their salad by the way!!!! Obviously we didn't eat our salad. The food came out about 20 min later it was cold! We ordered hibachi which is supposed to be fresh! I'm pregnant and praying I don't get sick! This is one on the worst dining experiences ever! We will NEVER be back!

Disappointed. Ordered as soon as we sat down. Salad and soup came first. We had to ask for our drinks.After we got our salad and soup another couple came in and sat near us. They ordered the exact same thing as we did.For some reason their food came well before ours.More disappointed in the very few pieces of steak we were given in our combo. Burnt and only 5 pieces

First time ordering here and it was a huge disappointment. The food was not hot, the rice seemed old, the food was over seasoned too salty and not palatable. My order included food for multiple people. All of us agree we will not be ordering here again. I felt like I paid almost $20 a plate for what seemed like $5 food. The steak was tough and had no seasoning. Very plain. Over seasoned teriyaki/hibachi sauces over bland cold rice...poor presentation and very over priced.

My husband and I loved this place when we lived in Mooresville! We moved to IL in 2012. In 2020 we came back to vacation in the area and this was the first place we stopped. The hibachi chicken and vegetables tasted exactly like we remembered! We are now, (4 years later) planning another vacation through the area and Shiki is our #1 thing on the itinerary. The portions are great, food is delicious! It has not changed in 20+ years we've been eating there ?

Visiting from out of town and came for dinner. Sushi was tasty and good. The food was definitely enjoyable and filling.The service was amazing for the given conditions. I think the whole restaurant only had 1 server and he was terrific.If I come back to this area I would go back again.
