My boyfriend and I stumbled across this gem a few years ago. I must say, we love Blue Parrot! The food and service is always on point.. Can't wait for the nice weather so we can come more often!

Never thought I would find “beach food” and “beach vibe” here! Food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Service by Emma was the highlight. Emma was such a good server, she knows the menu and was so helpful. Her customer skills is top notch. A very welcoming young lady with positivity. Keep hiring people like Emma! Thanks for a good birthday for my wife. ;)

The food (shrimps) are clean the music and environment makes you really feel like you are in the Caribbean. I love this place and will definitely be back.
This is an on the water watering hole on Lake Norman, NC, about 30 miles from Charlotte . Not much of a view, except for gas dock and those visiting the Parrot. Salads are large and fresh. Chicken fingers are good but not outstanding. Beers cold and plenty of variety from which to choose. Dock tie up is limited to 8+ spaces, so come early.Parking: Mentioned in previous space.
When I say this was one of the worst experiences I had, I mean it. My family, (wife and child) walked into their restaurant and was met with rudeness. It was pass opening time, they told us,"we're not open yet". While a family was at the bar eating. Then I asked a waitress if they were open, she turned her head. Then 7 waitresses proceeded to walk by family without any service. We left and went to Tuscans next door and had amazing service. Blue Parrot can kick rocks

The food was pretty good. Nice variety of summer, beachy drinks. The service was great! We were there on a weekday afternoon.I'm sure this place would be rocking on the weekend!
