No rating. It’s closed for renovations til March 2023… maybe end of Feb. check website. It would be nice to say here it’s on a yacht! Might need reservations!

Absolutely a amazing experience. It was my husband and I 1 year wedding anniversary . Food was amazing views were phenomenal ? staff were friendly and welcoming. The only thing that I did not like the ac was blowing on us and it was really cold and the lights were flickering alot for someone who suffers with severe anxiety was a little nerve racking . But other than that had a wonderful evening. Definitely will be doing again soon.

The boat is very tired and needs refurbishment desperately and windows need a thorough cleaning. The food was subpar for the price and the meal was disappointing.

If you are going to have meals pre prepared that cannot be altered, please ask how they would like their steak prepared!!!! We were celebrating my best friend’s bday and her steak was so rare, she couldn’t eat it, well low & behold, they don’t have a stove on the boat, so they try to cook it using a sterno as best they can and brought when the rest of the table had already finished eating!! I had the salmon… it was dry & hard… the mashed potatoes literally tasted like they came out of a box! For $85/pp the food was terrible! The service was terrible! The waitress did not even endure to get all the drink order & my husband had to get up and go to the bar himself to get a Diet Coke! Unfortunately, this was a one & done deal for us…. Never again & I cannot recommend it to anyone!!!!

I've been on lake cruises where there were actually interesting things to hear about and see. Lake Norman doesn't supply such, just a bunch of expensive lakeside homes where famous people I've never heard of used to live. (Okay, I've heard of Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson, but not all those NASCAR and Duke Energy folk.) But this is a relaxing jaunt, you can watch fast powerboats and jet skis roar past, and there's a bar. Air conditioning and bathrooms are on the lower deck. I couldn't get to the open upper because the stairs were so steep and my sore knee was raising a ruckus that day. If you order a sandwich with your ticket, they never tell you that you have to come and ask for it. I ran into a woman afterward who didn't ask until the tour was over, so her family went without entirely because she was in a snit. (The sandwich was quite good.) The crew were all friendly. There's a small cafe (ice cream!) and more bathrooms on shore. Worth the price charged.

My Grandson and I had a great time aboard The Lady of the Lake for the dinner cruise and trip around the lake. When the captain made the announcement that anyone wanting to see how the Lady of the Lake operated, to come on up after the boat left the dock. I saw my grandson for dinner then he was off "helping" the captain and exploring the ship and didn't see him again until we were docking. Staff and crew were great! The cruise was wonderful and the food was great! We will definitely do this again real soon.

The boat was very shabby. When we boarded there was a strong smell of sewage and exhaust. The ceiling tiles were stained and everything is in need of an upgrade and cleanse. I would not take this cruise again.

Husband and I went out for our anniversary dinner! Just moved to area and wanted to go on a dinner cruise for a new way to celebrate! The first thing I saw immediately was that Lady needs a good scrubbing down! As soon as we sat down we were served our salads..... small very small and consisted of spring mix grape tomatoes and cheese, extremely small. There was a basket on the table with 2 cuts of bread ! I knew then we were in trouble! If you wanted more ‍oh well! My husband got salmon and I got the medallions (4 small slices of meat cooked well done) cheesecake for dessert! The food was good not great. Was I disappointed.... You bet! This place needs a well needed makeover and don't come hungry!

Did the Easter brunch tour and everything was simply amazing! Food was soooo hood! Drinks were tasty and strong, atmosphere beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. Perfect way to spend an afternoon. Great for a date, family outing or with friends. Highly recommend.

If luxury dining means, eating small portions of a 3 coarse meal that probably wouldn't fill up a child then it was that. I sweated half the boat ride because the air wasn't putting out. The captain and crew was very nice. The boat ride was smooth sailing.

I'm not sure why there is such negative reviews about the food and staff because my experience was the complete opposite. Booked a dinner cruise for my partner and I (3/19/22) and we had an amazing time!!. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and the food actually exceeded my expectations. We were served a nice salad immediately after getting on board, and once we were moving we enjoyed our main course meal (I had the maple salmon, and my boyfriend had the chicken marsala with veggies and mashed potatoes). They served a wonderful dessert towards the end, and whoever they use for their live entertainment needs to keep doing it because he played some nice reggae tunes that went with the atmosphere . I would highly recommend for a date night, family night, or any celebration period and I look forward to booking with them again in the near future

Friday, March 25, 2022 we chartered The Lady of the Lake for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. From the very beginning the staff made everything with the planning easy. Brian McLaughlin and his staff covered everything so that even the smallest detail wasn't forgotten. Needless to say the entire night was a huge success from our buffet dinner to the dancing to the tunes provided by DJ Eric, we had a blast. The bride and groom and their wedding party couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. This was the perfect way to kick off the weekend of celebrating our special couple. To Brian McLaughlin, Captain Ron, DJ Eric and all of the staff thank you for making this night one that will be remembered for a very long time. I highly recommend Lady of the Lake for any special occasion, we will be back.?

Went on valentines dinner cruise. They had the place decorated so lovely with linens. Flowers, wine glasses, balloons and had a very fancy three course meal with salad, main course and dessert. The yacht cruised around Lake Norman for at least two hours very nice , Staff was very sweet and helpful. It was a beautiful elegant evening!!!

Date night/belated Valentine's Day. When you reserve you spot, you also place your food orders and can add to overall meal but prices vary. They have packages as well. For a little over $200, we got an amazing 3 course meal, bottle of wine, and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was delicious! Boarding was pretty easy, and everything is prepared so you're not waiting on everything. We got on, sat, our wine was already there. They gve us salad and bread (sad to know but you cant get extra bread), before we left port so you can either eat it then or wait to pull off at 7. You have two options for food (pictures posted). My BF loved it and he normally doesn't eat green beans but yes food was bomb.com. And desert changes but ours was cheesecake, and it was so good! Food was great! And there is a bar so you can order other drinks. They had a musician on board, 2nd floor, where we sat, and he sang and played his guitar nicely. I will say request not to sit next to the speakers, music was super loud there and we struggled hearing eachother. But still a good experience. The boat itself was nice, they should do some updates on decor, especially the carpet. Just an old pattern that isn't cute unless they're going for the old school vibe. And there are several outdoors space that were nice. Because its winter, it's cold af in the lake and got dark pretty quickly. Bartender said in the summer, it's nice cause the sun goes down later so you can actually see. They do ask you leave some gratuity but not required. Overall great experience will be coming back for the summer.
