i wasn’t a customer but an employee of the restaurant next to them. it is big rock and i went to park in their parking lot where their “pay for parking” sign was located- keep in mind the parking lot has MULTIPLE empty parking spots. as i was calling the number i heard a man call for me and i turned around and he gave me a quick up and down look and asked if i was an employee of a restaurant around the waterfront. i said i was an employee and then continued to tell me i couldn’t park in his parking lot because HIS employees had to park in the parking lot across the lot, which at this time every parking spot in the waterfront was taken so that’s why i resorted to the only paid parking lot in the premises, and that i needed to go across the street and park or he would charge me $20. i am not sure what the normal amount he was charging for others but i was trying to pay so i could go to work. this is not the first time the owner of beach bums has given me and my coworkers trouble for just trying to work. i promise i would not be parking there unless i absolutely have to. i ended up having to park VERY far away and had to walk in the heat to my place of work just because he didn’t want an employee parking in his parking lot. i would’ve have been more understanding if he wouldn’t have been short and rude with me.

Best kept secret in Morehead City. Great beer, great service, and the food is above the board. Love the pasta, best pizza, and the pannis are delish.

Great place with reasonable prices, steps from the Morehead waterfront

Atmosphere and location was amazing. Service was good food was not the best and a little over priced for what you get. Do not get the mahi sandwich it is so dry and tasteless.

I ordered 2 BYO pizzas for take out. One of the pizzas I wanted shrimp and clams. After putting in all my info..card, name, email, and phone number we patiently waited 30 minutes to go across town to pick them up.
Upon getting back home I noticed the pizza had no clams but was replaced with ham. I ordered this via website so it wasn’t miscommunication. When I called the guy said he would remake the pizza but they were out of clams. Mind you this one pizza was totaled at $38 or so because it was seafood. He declined to refund my pizza!!! I was so upset he finally just hung up. I paid $80 for 2 pizzas and gave 15% tip for take out and he had nothing to offer me. That charged full price even though they were out of a topping. Don’t say anything at pick up, no phone call, no email.
I WILL NEVER eat here again and I will be sure to tell as many people as I can about my experience

The food is fantastic & you get very large portions. The atmosphere is great as well, and the service is excellent! Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stop and grab a bite to eat!

Tried the French onion soup and it was amazing!!! The broth and the onions were perfect !!! I also tried the buffalo chicken wrap -so fresh and juicy ! I def recommend the taco ranch to dip your fries in!!!!

Delicious hot wings with homemade ranch, and the angel hair onion rings were still crispy when we got them!
