if you have them filet, make sure to have them weigh the result BEFORE they add ice. something is not right about the percentages they claim.
I purchased 90$ of vermillion red snapper and got 2.2 lbs of fish at a cost of over $40 per pound. over $40 a lb!!!!! filleted was a much better deal AND you see/know what you are getting.
We were buying snapper for grilling. they had whole vermillion red snapper ($12.99 per pound) and filleted American red snapper ($28.99 per pound). Person said it would be about 40% fillet from the whole fish so we bought 2 whole fishes and had them fillet. Told them we had 4 adults and wanted about 2lbs so he grabbed 2 fish about 5 lbs and we got 1.5 lbs from this. a recovery of 30% and not 40%. had to ask them to add another fish. lady added ice to this fillet before we could weigh and determine recovery %.
next time we will fillet ourselves, or buy the filleted fish.

Local here-never really been one to buy fish from a market, usually we eat what we catch. But that snapper ceviche sign out front pulled me in. Ceviche is one of my top five favorite foods. I make my own ceviche at least once a month and in many different ways-Polynesian, Mexican, Asian styles, a lot of the time with our world-class Eastern North Carolina shrimp-so I have high hopes when I purchase ceviche from anywhere. They freakin delivered with quality freshness, bright and colorful, plenty of fish to veggies ratio-it’s perfectly balanced. Miss Reagan behind the register gave great customer service with a truly genuine smile. Everything about the shop impressed me; I also purchased a skin-on salmon fillet that looks fantastic and is soaking in dry rub and soy sauce right now. Everything looks and tastes amazing. Five stars all day. I will be back! Thank you all for the good food and experience.

Great fresh seafood here y'all. This is a small local joint that's super easy to find and the fish are fresh from the ocean daily. The shrimp, snapper and grouper were perfect for the family. They have seasonal fish and a large selection board to choose from. Spent $150 and had 4 huge meals for the family. Shrimp included. I'll def be back to this place. It's near the AB bridge and it's easy in and out. Check them out you won't be disappointed.
