Took a day trip to the coast. We stopped at Casa San Carlo, An awesome authentic Italian Restaurant in Moorhead City. Absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be back!!

Management spends so much time at the tables that it is annoying and frustrating when you are trying to enjoy your family and dinner. Say hello and keep moving. Children seem to be especially taken aback by the owner who comes on WAY too strong.
Great authentic food. Specials are always tasty, portions are large. Service is first class like we are the only customers! Melissa is our favorite server but all from the chef to all others can’t do enough to make it an enjoyable experience.

Never going again. When we first sat down, my plate had a dead fly and 3 others flying around. Apparently it was a known problem that the table we sat in was plagued with flies. When we sat at a different table, my plate instead had food residue covering a fifth of the plate, which I requested to change the plate. Appetizers came relatively the time I expected, the place was packed, which was the reason my girlfriend and I stayed, as we believed the food must be great as there are a lot of patrons. However, 20-30 minutes later, the server came by to tell us that one if the dishes my girlfriend ordered, an eggplant dish, cannot be made because there was no eggplant. She instead decided on baked ziti. We waited for an hour for our food, and two tables around us left and told us that our wait was abnormal because they have eaten there multiple times and it was never that late. When the food came, it was warm, however they did not give my girlfriend the right dish. Since we were starving, we didn't question it, and when the tiramisu came, it was on a chipped plate. The food while good, was not worth the wait as we came in around 6:30 and left around 9. Never coming here again.

The service was abysmal, I can’t review the food since we weren’t able to get any but I wish there was a lower rating than one star, I have never walked out of a restaurant before last night, there was probably only 8 tables including mine and my wife’s that needed to be waited on with 3-4 servers, and yet we were seated and then proceeded to sit there for about 25-30 minutes, and nothing, we were brought glasses of water and that was the most service we had gotten, we were walked past multiple time and not a word, we weren’t even introduced to our server or had the chance to order drinks, the one who I had assumed was our server, since he was waiting on the table right next to us didn’t stop to ask if we’ve been helped yet it if we had been waited on yet, though he did stop to watch tv and take a smoke break i noticed in the 25 minutes we waited for anyone to come to our table, there was only one lady there who actually seemed to be working hard on accommodating the table across the room from us, meanwhile all the other waiters seemed very seemed beyond mediocre, I wish I could say even more but there’s only so much I can write since all we did was sit down.
