I had the sweet thai chili shrimp burger and it was amazing. Definitely more sweet than spicy. my boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger and said it's the best burger he's ever had. the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very laid back. It was some of the best food we've had in the morehead city area.

Came in for dinner while in Morehead City. Nice friendly,cozy little place. The food was ok. Been stopping here for years. Food was not great like it was in the past.
The Fried flounder was not very good.

If you go to Morehead City, go to Floyd's. Everything from start to finish was imaginative and perfect. You should not make a meal decision until you hear and deliberate on the incredible specials.... just go there!

OUTSTANDING! Best quality meal I have had in a decade. Partners was good too. Very kind and engaging staff. A real "like home" feel with high quality service and food. I would go there any time.

Wish I had taken pictures! Food and service were outstanding. My husband has a lot of dietary restrictions, and our fabulous server worked with him to create a delicious meal that he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the summer pasta, which had a generous amount of shrimp and scallops. The desserts looked amazing, but sadly, we were both too full to partake.

I had the summer pasta, my gf had the tuna. Hers was way undersalted and yet also dry. The sides (okra, grits) were equally flavorless

My pasta was unbelievably bland. I was staggered..had some kind of acrid/bitter undertaste from the sauce too. I sent it back to be seasoned (first time i have ever sent food back). It came back microwaved and with more parmesan cheese on it. Slightly better but still very flavorless.

The server was very gracious throughout. She comped the tuna off the check because my gf was only able to eat a few bites before her stomach made her stop.

I left $100 poorer and still very hungry. Will not be back

Have been several times. I will have to say that the first two times were much better than this one. Had a pasta seafood dish. Was very bland. Our services was below par for this type of restaurant.

Our server Evelyn was great - knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly and engaging. Didn't love the atmosphere - carpet, Formica table tops, weird / random art - could use an update or better vision. Food was served hot & tasted great. We enjoyed cocktails, wine & dessert. We'll definitely be back!

Saw it on DDD and wanted to try.
Very good. Sadly didn't have the "original " key lime pie that I heard of. Said was gonna try and get back soon.
But got redneck egg rolls and the shrimp neopolitan and was outta sight.
