Finally found somewhere good to eat in MHC! We waited a little longer than I would have wanted to get served and our appetizer came out with our food but it was all so good. Server was very nice and handled my dairy allergy like he knew what he was doing. The buffalo shrimp appetizer was the star of the show, absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious local shrimp. My blackened mahi could have been a little more blackened and was a fuzz overcooked but it was still good. The homemade chips and slaw were amazing. My wife got a meatball sub and French fries which was very good as well. We will go back!

We could not get in the parking lot as there is a group of rude people standing next to their cars that were parked right inside the entrance that you could not get around. We were trying to back up on to Arendle Street to turn around and leave but there were cars behind us trying to get into and ended up sitting there for over 25 minutes while these people just sat in the parking lot blasting rap music and having a conversation. I walked over and asked him to move and some racial slurs were yelled at me so I decided that this wasn't the establishment for me to patronize if this is the kind of treatment I would get before I even made it into the building..

We tried the Ioanni's burger without bacon. It was superb. Bun was perfectly toasted. Loaded with mushrooms ketchup and mustard. Pickle was freshly cut and delicious. Fries were expertly seasoned. Paired with a sweet tea. This was a perfect lunch. Not only was this the best tasting burger in Morehead City, it was also quite affordable and delivered quickly. Thanks for an exciting place to eat.

So let’s just start with the fact that you are not able to place pickup orders over the phone without using a debit/credit card. Then I ordered 3 Special burger’s and 1 mushroom Swiss medium rare. It’s like the cook took a Pattie and grilled it put it on some dry French bread no Swiss cheese but instead Mayo,lettuce and tomatoes. Ground beef over cooked with no flavor. They have officially lost my service because this is week 2 my family has wasted another tank of gas on trash food. This use to be the number 1 spot in this area but between the last seven years the food has down graded to trash. The service was never really up to part but the food made putting up with tolerable. Then the wait time is outrageous…so I have to wait after spending my money for some food that is not even enjoyable?
