The whole crew at this store is always so fast, polite, and they always make the sandwich perfect. I come here all the time because they are so consistent & they never disappoint.

I had never been there before today, except once to pick up an online order. So, I decided to stop and get a sub for my husband and I. Big Mistake! I left quite annoyed! The guy taking my order was pretty short with me. He seemed very impatient and quite "busy." Although they really didn't seem busy at all. Apparently, he didn't have any customer service skills that he was aware of. Besides, I don't care if he had been busy! A representative of any business should never make a customer feel like an inconvenience! I prefer places that are courteous to their customers and allow for some time to decide what you want without making you feel rush. I would not recommend this place and I doubt I will be going back. Although, I will say that the food wasn't bad. They did not toast my Philly cheesesteak, but maybe I should have specified. I thought that it was a given that hot subs are toasted, but maybe not. My husband seemed to like his cold sub just fine though. Anyway, this is simply my two cents worth.

I am a local here and this is the best Jersey Mike’s! The subs are always so fresh and made perfectly! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. They’re very appreciative and always say really nice things when I grab my subs to go. I have lived in many different cities and this is the best Jersey Mike’s I’ve ever been to by far! :)

I went to Jersey Mike's on Arendell in Morehead City to pick up a sandwich more than an hour before they closed. Tuna looked good. The lettuce was all brown and wilted. The preparer dug to the bottom of the lettuce bin to pull out some fresher-looking pieces! I am begging her to please get a fresh bin of lettuce. She finally realized there wasn't enough of the fresher-looking lettuce and went looking for other lettuce in the store and found none!! She asked her manager (or at least another person). She came up with a head of lettuce from their refrig. I said fine, don't even chop it as I will take the leaves. Which was what I wanted to do in the first place...leave!!! Now she pulls the brown and wilted lettuce off of my sandwich and actually...wait for it...you won't believe it...puts it back in the lettuce bin which of course had tuna clinging to it!!! I pity the next person who wants lettuce on their sandwich should there be another person coming in. At this point the manager (or at least another person), came over to assist, put the leaf lettuce on my sandwich, then I asked, thinking that with all these problems, not to mention Board of Health violations (just a guess), that maybe she would "throw in" some cheese at no additional cost. But no. Fine, I paid, and left the restaurant the way I found it...with no one there! Apparently, the community knows not to go there to eat as they have not been trained in proper food services.

Well what can I say... Subs are excellent... although I noticed on my last visit that they don't "Pile it On" like they used to...and the Sub Rolls are a bit smaller than before... but with everything food related these days being Sky High... I can understand why Mike is trying to cut a few corners to make the store profitable... Yet they still charge $10 for a half a sub... Back to Sub...I mean $way...lol for me personally... Especially with the new Freshly Sliced Meats...and a lot more "Piling it on" than Before... Plus the Price is better...?Parking: In a Strip Mall with other Businesses so obviously Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day

I never give bad reviews but frankly this was something that really offended me. I walked into the store to get some food. I ordered my meal and requested for the meat to be grilled to which the gentleman behind the counter asked, “Are you pregnant or something?” To which i responded, “ No, can i please get the meat grilled?” He then went on to tell me it was not protocol and could not grill the meat because of some type of food contamination?? I didn’t know being pregnant was a requirement in order to ask for a grilled meat. I then received a cold sandwich which i originally requested to be grilled. Very unprofessional and uncalled for. If the gentleman did not want to do to grill the meat he could’ve simple said so.

We have always enjoyed the subs here so maybe today was an "off day" forthem. We ordered online. Subs were ready on time - so far so good. When we got home we noticed how much smaller they were. The cheesesteak was way too salty and the roll was stale. We were very disappointed. Not worth the price.

Normally I have a 5-star experience here. But last night I was behind about 5 people in line so I took the opportunity to use the rest room. When I returned to the counter, there were no customers there and the manager (dark polo shirt) immediately took my order. He prepared my sub roll and sliced the meat for my regular #13 on white. Then his crew of about 5 proceeded to make at least 8 other on-line orders to include at least 15 subs of various types and sizes right in front of my order. Thus, making me wait for at least 10-15 minutes for them to catch up on their on-line orders. No one, manager included, took a moment to finish making my sandwich while I was standing right there in front of them. I jokingly stated that I didn't see all those customers in front of me in line. The manager said, "They came from somewhere". Then I asked the manager if that was how they normally handle their online orders? That is, making a multitude of subs, without other customers there waiting, in front of a waiting customer? He nodded yes. If this really is company policy, it's a bad one as I have no intention of returning there any time soon.

So I came in today after/during a small rush. 4 people working at the counter at each station like a total team (someone was also in the back!). The people behind me were the last of the little rush, so when I sat down I heard the manager tell the crew "awesome, I'm proud of you guys." And honestly, that may sound like a small thing, but as a customer I was happy to hear that. And even more so, you could feel that from everyone. They were all sincerely friendly, not just customer service friendly.Before I left I heard him explain something to one of the workers since he was about to leave (I assume) and I remember hear him ask her if she was comfortable with all of that. So again, a genuine, friendly, and thoughtful manager leading a team who were themselves genuine, friendly, and thoughtful.So hats off to this crew!Also my food was delicious, and that always makes me happy, ha!
