This is our favorite Mexican food place....super clean well designed and consistently good. I am from California and been to Mexico a few times... they do have a great twist on their food, as well as the basics!
We have eaten at Mike's Cabana Mexican about 5 times. The food is very good. I only have two issues. 1) The booths are a little tight, but we can deal with that. I don't expect them to build more booth. 2) The last time we went, they had change to two different sizes of white cheese dip. The regular was not much more than a saucer, which was $5.00. Not worth it. The other size was a good-sized bowl, but half full for, get this $10.00. For us, it's a deal breaker....
The food and service are always great, but today they really stepped up their game for my mom’s birthday. They brought out a piñata along with instruments and sang a fun light hearted happy birthday for her. The food prices are low comparatively to other places, especially for lunch! We love Mi Cabana!
