Cashier(young lady) was working but seem like she had clocked out for the day in her mine. Ordered combo...received the chicken but every order did NOT have the chopped BBQ. Complain to General Manager and she made sure we were comp ensated. Visit there each time we get to that area...and will continue to do so...

The food waa horrible, had to ask for the BBQ sauce that is supposed to be guven for your BBQ. Mac and cheese, potato salad were mid. Corn bread if you can even call it that is a thin slice of something deep fried and full of oil. The hush puppies have no flavor, cook out has better. Thr staff was rude And made it very obvious they did t want to be there and didnt want you there. Don't waste your time or money

The food was very good as usual, fresh and hot. I want you to especially commend Mr. Jeffrey Cotton for his friendly and exceptional service. I fed my family of 7 and he took great care of us. Thank you Jeff, and the rest of the Moore’s staff at the Morehead City Restaurant!

The guy with the dreads working the drive through 3/13/2025 8:30 pm, has the best customer service, had our food out promptly and overall gave us a great experience. He deserves a raise!!!!!!!! So hard to find nice employees. 💖 not to mention everytime I come in with my grandpa they treat us amazing!

I go in and order a 3 piece chicken and 2 sides. Some guy who looked like Little Jon, took my order. 10 minutes later he told me they only had 1 chicken leg. He opened up the container with my order in it and said “we only had 1 chicken leg but I made it up to you by giving you these 2 chicken tenders for the inconvenience, unless you want to wait”. I looked at him confused. I was thinking …it’s dinner time on a Thursday night… how do you not have more than a chicken leg at 5:30 (dinner time)? Foolishly, I said I would wait. The look he gave me was so odd… then he took the styrofoam tray from my hands…and screamed out to the other workers, who all standing around and were not busy … “He wants to wait”…then he screamed it again.. “He’s gonna wait”. And so I waited, but wanted to walk out. He came back 15 minutes later and handed me the styrofoam container back, but without the chicken tenders, lol? Why would you put food in my dinner that I didn’t ask for, show it to me, then remove it and make me wait 25 minutes? I was wondering how many times and how many different people went in and out of my dinner adding and removing food, adding the chicken and sides, then adding the tenders, the removing the tenders, then adding the rest of the chicken,… all this took like 25 minutes. The food tasted sad and the service made we regret going there. The place had 2 guests in it when I was there and it felt like being in an emergency room in a third world country, that served chicken. It felt like a scene from the move “Deliverance”. Not recommended.

I've always purchased the barbecue and have been pleased. Last night I ordered a 4 pack of baked chicken. To my surprise the chicken pieces could not have been much smaller.... Disappointed!

I tell you what I ordered the flounder and shrimp plate and it was absolutely delicious! Fried to perfection and sweet and tender. I had no idea you had seafood so good and it was served piping hot too! I will be back for more!
