One of my favorite places to go in Carteret county! The coffee is great, staff is friendly and helpful, food is soooo good (salmon poke bowl & breakfast burrito are 2 of my favs), cocktails are strong and delish and their night time atmosphere is so fun!! Definitely check this place out. P.s. also a great place to study/work during the day.

Husband had the southwestern wrap with shrimp, very good. I had the togarashi shrimp taco, excellent. Their cheesecake was to die for, super, creamy. The surprising thing was that the owner's mom made it. His parents were sweet and had just stopped by today. Everyone was friendly including the staff. Our server was very accommodating. Enjoyed our meal and our dog who was patiently waiting in the car. She received a pup cup from them. Made our day and hers, since it is so dreary outside.

Awesome cafe to grab a quick breakfast bite. The Smore's latte was delicious and the food was pretty good too. It's a little expensive but worth the money! The breakfast burrito and avocado toast were really good. Easy to order food and quick service time too. Very cute set up with board games to play as well. Really recommend for veggie options

I have always enjoyed Mug Shot for the coffee, food, and atmosphere. Today, I ate the most delicious sausage gravy I have eaten anywhere. I had it on toast, but I could have eaten it plain with a spoon, it was that good!

Stayed in the local area for a couple weeks and came here at least 5 times. Great food and a great atmosphere. Jo and Maggie (the chef) were especially amazing and made us feel like we were local regulars. The cheesecake is also probably the best cheesecake I've ever had and I highly recommend it. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area
