Our server Thursday night was amazing. Very attentive. Definitely a superstar. Crab dip with pita chips was hot and very tasty. I ordered the Carolina Burger and chips. Chips were hot and very tasty. Burger——not good. And the chili had beans in it. Never put chili beans on a burger or hot dog. Server made the trip for sure.

I’d never thought to put egg on a burger but it was really good on there . The meat I’m not sure what kind but is premade and isn’t hamburger meat but nevertheless it was good , the bathroom smelled bad , the waitress was good but I’m afraid if it was more than one table or possibly two she’d not be able to keep up but she was nice . It felt more like a hang out then a restaurant or family atmosphere which maybe it is more of a bar hang out than family oriented which is my mistake . I didn’t realize the brunch menu was only one you could get from opening until 3pm which was my fault . Not very many options . I’d recommend but be sure to tell the thoughts I had and I’d go back . !

My family had lunch here this week while in the area. Big salad, French Dip and a burger and we all enjoyed our meal. The bartender was actually waiting tables too and running the bar as well. Super friendly and attentive even though she was juggling multiple tables solo! Definitely recommend and we will visit again next time we’re in Morehead!

We did the rehearsal dinner for my sons wedding. When we first arrived my wife went to to the restroom and was shocked. It was in bad condition. We reported it so it could be cleaned before the party. I noticed some of the waitresses standing around the bar area patronizing with the bar drinkers. I felt their time could've been utilized better. Food was ok but there wasn't enough of the little steak medallions for everyone. When I say small I mean 2 bites. We made the best of it. I do believe they are under new management so hopefully they will use this feedback to their advantage.

King Mack’s I’d say is one of the best places Morehead has to offer. They have amazing food & and staff. It’s also very nice when they have live entertainment! I will definitely be going back!
