We recently visited Pam’s Specialized Catering and Desserterie. The sweet potato biscuits are amazing! The coconut crème pie was the best pie ever! We tried the pimento cheese and spinach dip! It was all incredible!!! Can’t wait for next visit!!!

Pam catered our son's rehearsal dinner and welcome party. She had great ideas for serving easy-to-eat food as these were both held in his backyard. Our guests all commented on the quality of meal and the welcome party nosh.

We used Pam for Thanksgiving last year and then for a very special 50th anniversary party. She planned a menu that was tailored to our requests. Her communication was amazing. But the food!!!! Both events we were impressed and so were our guests. Everything was delicious! We will use Pam again and again. It’s not hard to tell that her passion is creating amazing dishes and desserts. We cannot say enough good things!

I happened to spot this place and decided to stop. Everything looked really good! I purchased a cherry cheesecake slice and a couple of other desserts. Can you say heavenly?! I'm so happy I stopped and highly recommend you do the same!

Pam’s Specialized Catering went over the top. The food served for our event was fantastic . It was an outdoor event on property with no kitchen facility, and over 100 guest. Everyone’s food was hot and amazing . The servers/bartender were exceptional ,kind, and very very helpful. I could not be more pleased with how the catering turned out. Don’t base this company on a few skeptical reviews from Goggle reviews.

Communication was difficult and almost nonexistent. The food was decent I would say average nothing special. The “BARTENDERS” didn’t know anything they were putting lime in red wine, severing garnishes as snacks, and didn’t know how to make an old fashioned or a Moscow mule. Then 2/3 through the night they took their tip jar and bounced. If you don’t want to run a catering business then don’t, but please stop pretending and making peoples lives more difficult that just want to pay you money for a reasonably simple service. Vet your people.

The most important day of my grandson’s life and the most perfect day for the two of them, only to be tainted by really cold food. The salad and the crab dip were good but very horrible to eat cold everything else. You would think a caterer would have warming dishes for big events and especially when feeding that many people! Really poor planning and too bad as we have another wedding coming up and we won’t be using this one! My suggestion would be to keep looking for a caterer!

We used Pam’s Catering this weekend for my son’s wedding and are highly dissatisfied. We were feeding 85 people with dinner and appetizers. Everything was served cold as there were no chafing dishes used. She was not pleasant at all, pulling into the venue asked “where the f am I supposed to park”. I tried countless times to obtain the final bill from her, which I got 4 days before the wedding. All in all, the day was beautiful….besides the food (which was the 2nd highest cost of the day). With a built in gratuity of over $600, I would say that I would not recommend this caterer to anyone. Some of the food was tasty, but intended to be served warm. Unfortunately for Pam, my other son gets married in March and was going to use her…..not happening.

I just attended my grandson’s wedding this past Saturday and aside from the food the ceremony was awesome. Everything except the crab dip was cold! I know how much was paid for this caterer and what the gratuity was, not impressed in fact I wish we went with the original plan, we would have saved thousands. I DO NOT recommend Pam’s for an event that you would like to leave a good impression.

Overall, all guests had food. Food had above average flavor. Two of the three servers stood around the entire time while being charged 33$ an hour per server. I was approached by numerous guest asking why the food was cold. I should have provided chafers. There was not an even split of steak and chicken. The unequal servings are understandable due to not properly asking the guests their choice, but I was not provided the opportunity from the caterer to do a mix and match. Was told I needed to purchase an equal amount due to not knowing the guests choices. So…. Bottom line, all food had above average flavor, but the reserving party shouldn’t have been obligated to provide space and appliances to warm the food in order for all guests to receive cold dishes. Would not utilize this company’s service again.

I am normally not one to leave reviews, but I feel angry enough to leave one for this company. I am only giving this business a 2 because I do have to say the food was good. We hired Pam’s Specialized catering for our wedding of about 100 people approximately 1 year in advance. At first, Pam was very responsive over email and was willing to work with me on creating a menu aligned with our vision, however as the months became closer and closer, I heard from her less and less and had to send several follow up emails to get a response about estimated cost, when the bill was due etc. I had to get our wedding planner to reach out in order to get a response. I also decided to hire bartenders through her service, but when I asked to talk to the bartenders prior to the event, she was not able to provide the contact information for any of the staff to tell them my expectations or wishes for our drinks. Come to find out a few days prior that not only do I need to provide, ice, the alcohol, the garnishes/mixers, but I also needed to provide a cork screw, and the glasses. All of this was communicated just prior to the wedding and caused me a lot of stress. On top of this, when the bartenders showed up, it was clear neither of the staff had ever made a drink in their life. I printed a custom sign for my guests to be able to order drinks and they took it and used it to know the ingredients of a Moscow mule and an old fashioned—neither of which was made correctly. They were too heavy handed with the liquor, ran out of ice immediately to where one of my family members had to go out and buy more, and then when they ran out of water they started telling guests we had no water instead of taking initiative to go fill the water container in the kitchen. I had to get my wedding coordinator to fill it. As if this wasn’t enough, they didn’t even bring a knife to cut the oranges and limes they made me provide for the old fashions (a very basic drink) and instead of peeling them, they cut them into slices and were passing them out to guests to eat instead of as a drink garnish. Didn’t even put any of the 8 bottles of simple syrup I bought in any of the drinks or any maraschino cherries. But they did remember to put limes in the red wine..which was a very hot topic of conversation at the wedding. Several guests called this “creative” but I was livid. When the night was over, they dipped out with their tip jar without saying goodbye or cleaning up. Some of my friends ended up getting behind the bar and these drinks were better than the ones made by people who were supposed to be experienced. Again, the food was good and the staff at the table monitoring the buffet was fine so I have no qualms with them, however several guests did tell me they ran out of most of the food early on, especially rolls and pasta. A few people didn’t get to eat which frustrated me because I paid for enough to feed 100. DO NOT hire this business for larger events unless you want inexperienced bartenders, overpriced food, and poor response time.

we asked to change the menu four months prior to the date. Pam could not accommodate us or refund us for the deposit. she was also short and a bit rude on the phone. Would not recommend working with her.
