Good food, good atmosphere

Great food. Great service. Very friendly. Waiter/bartender was amazing and treated us as if we were family. Cant wait to go there again.

Huge problem with grub hub on this one. Person did not identify herself when she called order in, then she did not order what we said, we were charged 30 for this delivery. People at restaurant were very upset. Had to go over and pick up food myself. People there were fantastic ! The fish was better than a 5 star restaurant , the flaky rich flavor wad so fresh! Would dtive from va to nc for this meal. FF reg. Next time I will have a beer!

Great food and atmosphere, and they have oysters on the half shell...Fast friendly service, and not the most expensive place in town either. I'd recommend it any time...??

First timers at this place. My family and I were looking for the best and we think we found it. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff & service and so far; the BEST oysters and shrimp! Shukin Shack is our hidden gem and our "go to". This place beats the big boys hands down. Y'all dont expect an upitty clientele. It's so laid back and plays great tunes.

Food was excellent, service was ok. Apparently you seat yourself, we walked in and waited for several minutes before asking at the bar what the deal was. Appears some of the staff was new as table assignments were unclear. Once those were worked out everything was great.

The low country boil didn't have enough spice. There was two bartenders for serving and tend bar. One of them was fast and attentive. The other was not. We waited on our food for 35 min.

The place was very nice and the food was fresh and fast. The service was also good but not much explanation given for options.

I don’t know if it’s problems left in the wake of the pandemic or something else but the time from sitting to getting food is VERY slow. As far as food, the mahi tacos were pretty good but we did not like the chicken wings (they were huge, so if size is your main thing…) or the hush puppies. Clearly, the hush puppies were not homemade and were sort of gummy inside and rather tasteless. I think the restaurant is doing the best it can, but the actual experience falls rather short of the promise the menu gives.

Terrible!!!Some of the worst service I've had in a long time. The place was not busy and was clearly struggling. 80+ minutes to get our food. My oysters were water logged when the ice they were served on had already melted. Multiple reminders needed to be issued to wait staff for dropped items. I will never be coming back or going to this chain ever again! Also, one of the worst mojitos I've ever had.
