The hush puppies were crispy and awesome. The chicken tenders and fries were soggy but could probably be crisped up in the oven at home. Size wise, they are huge. Smithfield's wad out of hot sauce when I went but did not tell us. Instead they just didn't include it in the bag after we asked for it....so no texas pete for the tenders. We were on the road and just ate them sauceless.
Now that it's getting cooler I get 2 pints of Brunswick Stew buy 1 reg price and get 1 for $2. I tried the hush puppies today, but they are not as good as the round ones you get at some of the other restaurants in Carteret county.
We ordered and had it delivered to our hotel room.
The food was excellent.
Packaged very very good. The cold stuff.. pudding, ranch, utensils were packaged together and separate from the meals. The meat was all white meat chicken. The ice tea was cold and wrapped separately from everything else. They use Ken’s ranch! Very very impressed! Thank you!
