Steakhouses near Morehead City

“Besides the unclean silverware, and uncooked food, not a bad place. I had taken my wife out for a date night yesterday. And we both chose Sagebrush to go for dinner. I know we get there with a little over an hour until they closed. When my wife and I got seated, Sheri was our waitress. She was the Best while we were there. Everything was Great, the food, the drinks, and the restaurant itself has a calm, and subtle atmosphere.

With all that said. The 2 issues that are making it debatable to go back is when I opened the silverware, the knife that I had unwrapped was gross. There was butter still on the knife, and it looked like it wasn't even washed. Also my wife got fried okra. And the breading was a light brown, and the okra itself wasn't even cooked at all. When it was brought to our server's attention. She said that, she believes the deep fryer was shut off already and they probably had to turn it back on. She was being honest, and that goes a long way.“

“Pleasantly surprised. My last experience with Longhorn wasn't so good. This one was exponentially better. Got a ribeye, medium rare. It was actually medium rare and was melt in the mouth delicious. Cooked with butter, tons of flavor. Ceasar salad was great. Got the honey brussels, just so so. Should have gotten mashed or baked potato instead. Service was great! On point and very attentive. Total bill was $75 for three people, bit of a (good) shock for the quality of the steak. Glad I gave it another chance!“
