I really like this pastry shop. everything I have had is amazing. the ham and cheese croissant is my favorite and the cinnamon rolls (so delicious). can't wait to try the key lime pie.

We were more than pleased with our experience working with Sugarloaf Island Bakery for our wedding cake! Rachel was amazing to work with and helped us create a cake that held special significance to our relationship—and wow, did they deliver!

The cake’s style matched exactly what we requested and was absolutely delicious. Both sets of our parents and other guests raved about it! We opted for a cutting cake and kitchen cakes to be served, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a bakery you can trust to make your wedding day even sweeter, we can’t recommend Sugarloaf Island Bakery enough! They were so wonderful to work with.

When planning for my mother’s 90th birthday, we booked a house at the beach and decided to make a whole week of celebration. We were told that Sugar Loaf Island Bakery was the best in the area, so we ordered several items throughout the week. Everything was wonderful. Along with an outstanding birthday cake, we ordered ham and cheese croissants, cheese danish, cinnamon buns, and carrot cake cupcakes. We couldn’t have been happier with the flavor and quality of all baked items. And the owners went out of their way to help us find the perfect items for our celebration. Do yourself a favor and give Sugar Loaf Island Bakery a try!

They’re super sweet here. Very kind and prompt service. One table for sitting. Thankfully I was the only one there so I was able to sit and enjoy my pepperoni and cheese croissant(:
Also, they’re wonderful vibes sure attracts some gentle, kind and lovely people!
Had to get the Honey Wheat Loaf to go! I’m on a long bike tour to Florida and it’ll keep me fueled for a few days.
Ahhhh I’m just eating the honey loaf in the parking lot! It’s soooooo good!😅

Very friendly staff

I loved this place before it sold to a new owner. I have given her a chance with an open mind. I ordered a birthday cake it wasn't the colors or Butterflies I asked for. Happy birthday wasn't put on it. However I didn't say a word I thought it's still looks OK. As long as the taste is there. I got it home it tasted Terrible. Crisco icing taste which made mom and I nauseous. The cake itself was dry. I compared with other bakeries and she really charged to much for nothing. However I was gonna return for the delicious apple turnovers but last few times I got them hardly any apple in them at all. Sadly I am done with this bakery. She can't hold a candle to the old owner. Everyone isn't a baker please go back to school. She is a nice lady but baking just isn't her thing. If you have had good bake goods you know the difference. It's an art that not everyone can master.

Ordered a cake for my Daughter’s baby shower, the cake was delicious!!! And beautifully decorated! I wanted some blue and some jungle theme but didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I gave them the liberty to design it and I was so delighted when I saw the cake !!!!

I ordered a cake on short notice for my wife's 50th while on vacation. The team was fantastic on accommodating dietary restrictions and made a beautiful and very tasty cake. We grabbed some treats while picking up the cake, and those were wonderful too! Really recommend the ham and cheese croissant! You delivered on your promises and were very pleasant to work with. If you’re a local, go whenever you can! If you’re not, make this stop one of your beach trip rituals! Everything the eclairs, the cinnamon rolls, the homemade bread on Friday’s is all worth the trip! All of it reasonably priced too!
The new owner, Rachel, goes above and beyond with her cake designs! She is truly an artist. Support this local bakery instead of the chains you can get back home. You will not be disappointed!
