Sweet Beans Midtown Sound Cafe

Awesome little coffee shop located in the community college student center, open to the public. Tables inside and outside both over-looking the sound. Coffee, tea, smoothies, and food served.

We love having lunch at Sweet Beans. I'm working my way through the menu but right now the Club Sandwich and Jamaican Me Crazy are my faves! Then I found out about the new cup??? You get free refills until Dec 31st. I'm going to have to try all the coffee now. ? Thanks, Mr. Ray

They are actually located at 205 College Circle inside the Bryant Student Center Building where the bookstore is located!

The food was delicious. I had the club sandwich, not much bacon. The sides were very small. The mocha frappe was excellent.

Doesn't get much better than this ? Delicious breakfast burrito, amazing latte, and breath taking views.

Very friendly staff and great coffee!

We needed a vegetarian friendly lunch for our teens and coffee/tea for us. Tucked inside the bookstore of Carteret Community college was the Sweet Beans Coffee and Cafe. Worth the effort to find it. The food was fresh, attractive, and delicious. Especially the veggie wraps. Our teens had a wide variety of flavor choices for their milkshakes as well. The coffee was good for us. We will stop again next trip to Morehead city

This place was super cute. However, it’s not what is in the pictures. I have attached a picture of what sweet beans looks like. The frappe was okay. I like mine a little sweeter, but my sister liked her latte.

Love the view from the new location! The chilli is fabulous as well!

not only is the staff the nicest staff around, the coffee is outstanding. I will say I'm going to miss the old location, but I'm very excited to check out the new spot at the college. This place Is a must try for anyone visiting the area who is looking for a great cafe. Highly recommend the Carolina Morning and the Chocolate chip cookies.
