Great food, great atmosphere, excellent wait staff. my only real complaint is that anytime anyone walked behind me the floor would bounce. (Nothing they can do I know I used to do framing) oh and it seems like you only get 1 bottle of water a meal (I drink a lot of water) I've never been somewhere that put soo much effort into how the food looks. It is nice

A truly amazing experience. A fantastic restaurant located right next to the pier. The service was top notch from the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out. The hostess was friendly, greeted us and offered us the bar as we waited for the rest of our party. Megan (hopefully correct spelling) at the bar was great, our drinks were very tasty, and her conversation was excellent, a very friendly person and she even gave us great ideas of what to eat. Our waitress (my apologies, I have forgotten her name) was also very friendly, very attentive and very efficient. The food, well, I can't speak highly enough about the food. The candied bacon was perfectly cooked, and had a great glaze to it without being over done. The tuna wontons had a fantastic flavor, and the spicy feta dip was a perfect mix of spicy and creamy. The charbroiled oysters were very delicious, I now wish I had done a full dozen rather than just the half dozen, they were that good. My stuffed Mahi dinner was simply amazing. The tuna perfectly cooked, the filling with the Cajun sauce was a perfect addition. The potatoes and vegetables cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Another dish our party had was the short ribs, which I have to say is probably the best short rib I've ever had at a restaurant! The sauce was very rich, and so flavorful, the grits a really nice addition, along with the sautéed mushrooms. Another dish was the seared yellow fin tuna, which I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try, because it was devoured so quickly! Overall, this was an absolutely amazing experience, and well worth the trip! Thank you to all the staff!
What is great about this place? Management! Waitresses/Waitrose staff were extremely attentative to me and my date. They knew the specials and explained them perfectly. Drinks were poured with exceptional perfection. Sasha, you have a good team. Thank you.

Food was amazing but the service was very bad. Had a heavyset blonde waitress who literally rarely came to our party of 6. Really expected better from Kostas. Will maybe try the bar if I decide to go again.
Unfortunately the service at the back oyster bar was not friendly nor attentive. Front bar, entirely different story. Oysters had some grit which I'm not accustomed to.

This was our first time visiting, and we got lucky finding this place. We arrived at about 5:00 pm, with no wait for a table. We had the Charbroiled oysters, stuffed Mahi, Blackened Tuna burger, and Crab Cake BLT. Every bit of it was delicious. Also ordered a couple of very tasty Old-Fashions to drink. The Painkiller drink was also very good. The service was attentive and friendly. Plenty of free parking was available during our visit.
So we stumbled upon this gem by accident. It is actually located in the center of Morehead waterfront, but we never knew it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We were greeted promptly and with a smiling face. We had the pleasure of dining at the bar, with Megan as our host. She was friendly and helpful and her cocktails are amazing!The food that we ordered was outstanding! It had a quality of freshness to it and the taste was all we hoped for.I believe Catch 109 will be a regular spot for us from now on!
