Ok just to be clear my four star ratings are meant to be a compliment. I reserve the last star or 5th for outstanding performances. Applebee's has become a very mature restaurant chain. However they still innovate and offer great menu choices. All of which are quite good. They give you clear nutrient information. Which is crucial for many and should be paid closer attention too by us all. This is my only complaint which for some maybe a another reason to patronize. The portion sizes for there entrées is quite large. So much so, we occasionally, just split one entrée and its still plenty. The service was very good the host, waiter, and manager all engaged with us. Also pay at the table with their q code works everytime and quickly. So if you haven't eaten at a Applebee's in a while give it another try their all time favorites still exist alongside many new offerings and of course adult beverages.

It's like a nightclub in here. The music is way to loud. Waitress just wanted to stand around, and talk. Most of the food once it finally arrived was hot. The fries was the only food complaint. Never got a refill on my drink. Might return, but it will be a while if I do.

Applebee's of Morganton did an amazing job today. As soon as you walk in, the had a tribute to fallen soldiers. The General Manager came to our table to get our ordered started because of a short staff. Honestly, I couldn't tell if thet were short staffed because our service was amazing. It looked like everyone working today was on the same page.....working with other servers, filling drinks and helping with request from other customers. I wish I could remember the young lady's name that is the General Manager because she deserves to be recognized! You did an amazing job showing the Veterans at my table and others the appreciation for their sacrifice to make this country so great! You do a great job of leading and showing professionalism in a hustle bustle situation. And You made my Buddy and his fellow Veterans feel appreciated by your efforts. Your staff did a great job as well, the servers and for sure the folks cooking(chefs)-the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a great experience on Veterans Day. Applebee's knocked it out of the park today! Great job you all!
