For my first time at a dennys this was not great service or food. The sausage links tasted like chemicals, bacon was crunchy like crazy. The chocolate milk tasted like straight up milk. The mocha was VERY bitter. The cooks wasn't wearing hairnets, the MANAGER did absolute no change of gloves while touching food and serving to tables, they were touching bacon with no gloves. The COOK would walk around to tables touching EVERYTHING with NO gloves on (chairs, tables, her shirt, her hair, etc) and they would laugh and joke about not wearing gloves. this terrible service was not worth no $80. I think either this place needs a change or needs to be shut down.

My husband and I stopped here on the way home to Waynesville and we both loved it! My husband said this was the best food he has had in a long time, and I agree! Telisha (the cook) made everything perfectly and Amber (who served us) was just the sweetest and so helpful. If we lived closer we would come all the time!

Our waitress was lovely, I wish I remembered her name. Also our turkey dinner was fabulous. Our turkey dinner a couple months back was terrible and dry. This dinner was 20x better. And thank you for being open today. Denny's, you completed our Christmas Day with a fine meal that we didn't think we were going to get. 😘❤️

It was a holiday had to wait 2 1/2 hours to eat to get our drinks to get burnt food and they didn’t even give us 10%. We’ll never go there again. It was 3×3 strikes you’re out Denny’s. I know no one cares there, but I wouldn’t go there if I was starving.

I would have given 5 stars if there was no carpet in this restaurant. Come on Denny’s, get with the times! These workers can’t keep that carpet clean!
I am typing this on Christmas Day 2025.
It was extremely busy. We waited in line to be seated for quite some time, and we waited for over an hour for our food. We were warned at the door.
Remember, I said this was Christmas Day? We expected to be waiting! Nothing in this area is open today!
While we were in line, we heard that people had walked out… We saw people walk out. The waitresses were the hostesses… Same ones taking payments at the register. These folks were busting their butts!
One of the gals said that people were cussing and angry earlier! Like, what?
I don’t understand people. How would one not know that this is not a typical day?
When our food came, it was delicious, warm, and presentation was just like any other day. You can tell the cook still took pride in making our food, even though I’m sure the cook line was not fun!
Our waitress was over 60 years old and probably had to be there to pay her bills! She was wonderful…
Kudos to the entire staff at Denny’s in Morganton on Christmas Day!
I was greeted promptly and sat. They had 2 servers working at the time and both of them were friendly to me as well as all who where there. My order was taken and my food arrived exactly as I had ordered, my coffee never ran below half a cup. What I loved about coming here was not only the cleanliness and food but the service by the two servers there. It didn't matter whose table you belonged to they both had a great spirit of teamwork about them.
