Went on a Sunday.. place was not even halfway full. Waited over 30 minutes for a table, then waited at least 20 more to get our drinks and orders put in after we sat down. No refills because we never saw our waitress. My food was cold and my sister's was not even edible. Not to mention, prices are WAY too high now. Never going back!

Casual dinner with friends; ordered "Ken's Fried Chicken at $14.95. Received a dinner consisting of ONE small, deboned, flatened Breast covered in gravy with One scoop of mashed potatoes and a small side order of Okra. Not even close to being adequate at any price let alone FIFTEEN DOLLARS. They need to decide whether they want to stay in business or not - probably not if this is what they continue to serve

I have not been to this restaurant in over 4 years, today reminded me why that is. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. 15 minutes before the server came to the table for our order. The food was not cooked to order. The sever asked what kind of drink my son was having and still brought the wrong drink. When we came in it was around 6 pm on a Saturday night and the place was practically empty. Don’t do it , it is not worth the trouble or the money to eat here.

Skillet cornbread used to be really yummy, with as silky a consistency as cornbread gets. Now, it's dry! The waffle on the chicken & waffle was really good, but $16 for a waffle & 4 pieces of calabash chicken? Oh and did we mention it comes with NO SIDES for that price?! Imagine my surprise when the sides were charged seperately!!! $18 for the calabash chicken plate now?! This place is NOT that good.

This has got to be the restaurant to NOT get good food and service. We were seated and 55 minutes later we had not gotten or food. When we did get it they did not bring our complete order. This will be my last time going there. Morganton, NC. the menu has changed and the prices are outrageous.

It was so cold inside which should of been my first red flag to leave. We order appetizer mushrooms for $8.99 got 8 mushrooms that were cut in half. Ordered the pot roast and shrimp &grits. The grits were hot but the pot roast was cold potatoes were cold, the server finally came back to see how everything was and I sent the pot roast back. After 10 minutes I finally received the pot roast, it was the same plate of food that they must of put into the microwave,to get it hot. I will not be coming back to Fatz again.

I ordered Chicken and Dumplings, I got creamy Chicken noodle soup. All the restaurants nearby were packed, Fatz had just a handful of customers. I thought they were closed when I called, took forever to answer the phone. Seems to have gone downhill... almost $30 for a salad and soup. The person on the phone was very rude.

This place is good if you’re extremely hungry.. the food is incredibly average and the prices are way too high. The service was pretty decent, but the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest place in the world.

After reading bad reviews about other restaurants in the area this one had decent reviews and we were starving. The food was disgusting and bland. My waitress was rude and hateful because we asked for sauce for our food. The rolls were the best part I will say that. My daughter loved them and when I asked for some to go for her our waitress acted as if it was a huge deal. They didn't have hardly anything on tap. Overall very disappointed in our experience here.

We stopped here , on our way to visit the town of Marion . We live In Raleigh and Let me just say this place was sooo Good ! Did not disappoint . Service was good our waitress ABBY was super sweet and attentive .
Abby was such a great waitress to have. Never had to worry about if we would be well taken care of. Would love to sit at her table again!

Sorriest place to eat in town! Ordered a steak and brought it out flesh raw. Could tell it had barely been on the grill. Asked for it to be taken off bill and because it was 2 for $30 special, they still made us pay for a regular meal which came out to the same price as special. When it was there mess up in first place. Do not recommend eating there. I do not send my food back to be cooked again so that they can spit in it.

Food wasn't good at all. The hostess simply looked at us when we walked in and walked away. Scream customers seated later, and she returned to say it would be about 15 minutes. Apparently, there was only one waitress, and the other customers were more important than we were. Finally, after seeing the treatment her hostess was showing us (and giving her the business), the manager sat us at at table. She was not happy at all, and it showed. Then, I guess the cook forgot to season the food. Just wasn't the best (or good) experience.
