My wife an I get take out from Great China enough that I felt like I needed to review it. If you’re looking for a new place to try in Morganton to eat, this is it. They advertise Mandarin, Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese. The Egg Drop Soup, Singapore Mayfun, Chicken On A Stick, Wontons and Eggrolls are must-haves. I've been getting take-out here for years. It is my absolute favorite chinese restaurant. I've never had one order that was incorrect. The food is always fresh and delicious.
The 1 star reviews on here don’t seem to understand what kind of place this is. It’s a “hole in the wall” Chinese takeout place. And one of the very best I’ve ever had. General tso chicken, egg rolls, chicken wings, and lo mein are all delicious and a great value. I don’t recommend dining inside. It’s never been remodeled or repaired.
