Limbertwig is always a favorite stop for us when we visit Morganton. If you are looking for a lighter lunch with an amazing variety of sandwiches and wraps full of flavor and delicious fresh ingredients this is the place to go. Everything is freshly made to order so it may take a bit of time but it is well Worth it. You can sit inside the restaurant with fresh flowers on the table. Our last visit we got our food to go and sat at the tables on the historic courthouse lawn and it was a great experience for our guests visiting from out of town. Highly recommend Limbertwig.

This was our first time visiting downtown Morganton, and we were looking for a good lunch place. We found it! Both my wife and I had great sandwiches, and the chef gave both of us a free bowl of tomato soup that was delicious. We also came away loving the atmosphere - one that was kind to all the customers. Owner gave me a cup of curry pumpkin soup, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors of the pumpkin & curry together along with an unexpected perfect amount of heat in it were wonderful! Hands down the best soup I have ever had (sorry mom). I could eat this every day & not be tired of it. Thank you for letting me try it. You guys are awesome!

I waited over 35 minutes for two sandwiches yesterday, a Jamaican salad croissant and a Reuben. Order was wrong too, a Reuben is supposed to be served on rye bread, not white bread.
