An authentic Guatemalan breakfast! I enjoyed this exact breakfast almost every morning when I visited Guatemala and I was so excited to have it here. Filling and well-rounded. The decoration and atmosphere is very nice and they even roast their own coffee beans here. Morganton, I hope you know what you’ve got!
What a cool place! We had a delicious brunch on the patio. I loved the Guatemalan Breakfast - comes with eggs, black beans, plantains, and homemade tortillas. I also tried the horchata. It was too floral-y for me, but I saw others enjoying it so must be a personal preference. My partner really liked his enchiladas (these are not the same as Mexican enchiladas so ask for a description) and coffee. Service was great as well. Will have to come back to try the chocolate.
Every time my family and I come to visit NC, we always stop by Little Guatemala. The best place to have authentic Guatemalan food + coffee!!! As a Guatemalan, I can vouch that this place reminds me so much of Guatemala, from the food to the intricate details that include our culture. They sell Guatemalan merchandise and it also has an outside soccer field, as well as an indoor one which if you’re waiting for food it’s a best way to keep the little ones or yourself entertained...
